    I had trouble obtaining information on the Japanese Beast Wars DVDs... so I thought I would start a thread informing people of what IS and IS NOT available on Official dvds. I know this is all well known to veteran fans, but many new fans don't know this.

    The widely known stuff is shamelessly linked to the wiki, because it is an excellent resource. Please let me know any errors or other nitpicks.

    Region 1 DVD
    The Transformers (Generation 1) series on DVD.
    Current license holder... Shout! Factory.
    Former license holder... Rhino Entertainment

    Transformers: The Movie (aka TF:TM)

    Not on official dvd.

    Unless of course you count the release by Sony on the TF:TM 20th Anniversary DVD, totally free of original audio, but with commentary from TFW2005 members.

    No R1 DVD license holder. Need info on Japanese DVD release.

    Beast Wars Special "Lio Convoy in Imminent Danger!"
    No R1 DVD license holder. Released on Japanese laserdisc and DVD.

    Beast Wars Neo
    No R1 DVD license holder. Currently, no Japanese DVD release.
