Hey everyone, after seeing Sledgehammer's Optimus model I was intrigued by the cartoon style modeling so thought I'd give it a go myself as it's something different to what I normally model.

So I chose Soundwave as my first one as while I absolutely love Blitzwing he seems a bit harder, and Soundwave just rocks!

This took me about 3 evenings to do, I've be making models for over 2 years every now and then in my spare time so the only tricky part was getting the Toon shaders right. Also he's rather low poly, I could smoothen him up more later if needs be.

He's almost complete, just missing the details on the other side of his backpack and some other small things, after that I can look at setting up a rig for him.

    Hope you all like it!

I did (a fairly high poly) Blitzwing a few months ago, but I haven't got a clue about rigging and animation -

If the animated Video game looks like that, I would be very happy.

Awesome. I hope the video game (if there is one) looks like this. Same goes for that Blitzwing, too. I can't wait for Lazerbeak!

I think Soundwave is perfect. I can't wait to see video games now with these guys. I did a little modeling a while back. It's not easy, many props especially on the shader.

Great work on Soundwave, NG (and on Blitzwing too, RP!) - looks like I've got a job on my hands to keep up! :rock

Thanks Sledgehammer, glad you like him (Seeing your prime inspired me to make this!)

To Rodentus prime: Nice Bltiz there! Props for making a toy version before one is even shown!

But yes, I'm thinking of doing Blitzwing next (Cartoon accurate version) since Laserbeak requires cartoon pics of him to get done...
