I know. How did the dude get picked for the suit? It seemed kind of random.
I wonder if Prowl's rider was inspired by the movie driver. I loved that they pointed out the wierdness of a riderless bike. Also we get to see how BB gets his boosters. I wonder if they will show Prowl using the stoplight or Ratchet using his tools at some point.
So uhh... is it any better than the last human villain episode (Meltdown)?
Not sure yet. Its nothing like last week's episode, but there really isn't a bad episode of Animated. They all have something funny, fun, or cool going on.
I liked Prowl's hologram disquise.
And is that comedian Brian Posehn as Nanosec?
Awesome nod. These guys don't stop.
Oh no no I worded it wrong.
I mean the ANIMATION! Meltdown's wasn't as smooth as the other episodes.
OH! Hmm, well, about average so far, although when Nanosec was fighting Prime there were some exceptionally GREAT moves.
Nano should use his chin to cut their steel.
That's what I was thinking.
Weird seeing him play a Not-so-nerdy character.
I really liked that scene.
Oh shit its like that that "Fry, Clouddo" scene from Advent Children
BB's battle mask...cool.
Today's lesson: To defeat an old crook, just outrun him until he's too tired.
great, more meterial for E-hobby repaints..
I loved the nod to the Japanese Destrons with the whole Destronium.
Also loved the nod to G1 BB's head with the BB battlemask in this episode.
This episode was much better than Meltdown IMO.Once thing that bugged me was that Nanosec managed to pull Optimus over.He wasn't superstrong so that made no sense.
Yay, another Bumblebee learns a lesson episode. And he got his token upgrade. It is nice to see doo-dads on the figures are not just random bullshit like we get for other super hero lines (superman with a lazer backpack?)
*Megatron is getting less civil and we now see he has a lot of access. He is able to watch the news and control and interact with city computer systems, and even control robots it appears.
*All 4 of the cast have had at least 1 episode focus on them. We are about due for a PRIME episode.
*Dialog great. Sari is a kid without being annoying. Bumblebee's interaction is just like that of a teenager with an 8 year old, which is hilarious and cute. I think people who think Sari is annoying probably think all kids in real life are annoying. She is just like my niece and how she would probably act in those situations.
*Better than Meltdown because this human had a reason for existing, plausible origin and was focused on the Megatron subplot
Overall a good episode. So far only one episode has been below average which was Meltdown but the rest have been good stuff. But G1 did have episodes focused on that horrible Chip Chase so no one can have a perfect season.
The suit sped up his aging, so to defeat him, Bumblebee made him use the suit's power a lot by forcing him to chase him, accelerating the aging process.
Not a bad episode. Nowhere near the same league as last week's, but still good.
I haven't seen Meltdown yet, so this was my first exposure to a human adversary. It worked well enough, I suppose, but I preferred the fights against Lockdown and Starscream. It just feels weird to have one dinky human holding his own against five big Autobots. I don't hate the whole human villain concept, but I'd still rather have more Decepticons instead.
I liked Bumblebee's battle mask, that was a neat touch. And seeing him burning red was cool, he looked like Cliffjumper for a minute.
