To be fair I wouldn't know who Boba Fett is if it wasn't for Family Guy. I never really liked Star Wars very much; I've seen the original trilogy once, Episode 1 once and have not seen Episodes 2 or 3.

Yeah...that was probably the awesomest animated Transformers anything that I've ever seen. Kudos to the writers!

Excellent episode. It's always nice to see a kids' show that is not dumbed down. This one had an excellent message. This is truly shaping up to be one the best series I have seen, TF or otherwise. Some things I liked:

--Arcee. Always nice to hear Sue Blue's voice again. The character's design was nice, though I hate that this means we likely will not be seeing Arcee again.

--The cameos by Magnus, Blitzwing, and Megatron. And knowing that the Autobots are on Earth and that Lockdown did not succeed would lead one to think that Blitzwing and the others will be making it to Earth real soon.

--Bumblebee's horn plays the TF theme! Excellent!

--"Humans call it 'playing possum.' Don't ask me what a possum is."

--Lockdown's character is brilliant. He IS a Decepticon, but he's not your usual 'evil for the sake of being evil' kind of guy. And did anyone else notice that, because Lockdown does not claim to be a Decepticon, he has a rub symbol instead of a regular insignia!

    --No tasmanian devil-styled transformations.

--No Sari or Megatron. Granted, I like both of them, but it's nice to see that there are other stories for the Autobots, other villains besides Megatron, and other adventures and stories to tell which do not include Sari.

All in all, wonderful episode. Great story, great script, great music. Best one yet, in my opinion!

Hehe, i didn't notice that BB's new horn played the Tf intro music :)  Real fun ...

    I liked this episode ...

    1. A new " Decepticon "
    2. Arcee :D
    3. More Ultra Magnus ;)
    4. Ratchet finally tells some of his stories from the great war
    5. Blitzwing ! ... Hurray !
    6. Cybertron Megatron. He was there for a few seconds in Ratchets flashback.

4 out of 5 to this Episode. Better than " Total Meltdown " if you ask me.

I would like to add that Sari is not that bad. I don't mind her at all so far.

Very good episode. It was cool to see ratchet get some character development.

    My main thoughts:

-I really like Ratchet's voice. It fits the character very well while at the same time has a similar feel to Don Messik's G1 Ratchet.

-Very nice to finally see some good Decepticon action ( even if Lockdown isn;t really a "Decepticon".

    -Susan Blu as Arcee=AWESOME.

-Lockdown is a pretty cool character. I was hoping the voice would have been a little more sinister though.

-Prowl/ Lockdown fight=AWSEOME. . I'm still not a huge fan of Prowl's voice, but the chatacter kicks all shades of ass.

-I'm in the minority but I still absolutely HATE Blitzwing. The over-the-top annoyance of the Armada kids in one body. Whoopie.

Reading that, for a second there, I thought you meant the Megatron from the series Cybertron. I forgot for a moment that TF:A's Megs did pop up back there.

Even though this episode was really great, I was still a little disappointed that there weren't even more cameos in Ratchet's flashbacks!

The flashbacks were there to tell a perticular story. To have more cameos would have distracted from the story. This dosen't mean we won't get more later.

when Megatron appeared in Ratchet's flashback an told Lockdown to bring the prisoners to him it reminded me of Darth Vader from the Empire Strikes Back when he told the other Bounty Hunters including Boba to find the Falcon.

Certainly the strongest episode thus far for me.

    Pros:
-Susan Blu as Arcee again, sweet!
-Prowl taking charge with Op captured.
    -The Great War flashbacks.
    -BB's horn.
-Bliztwing (only his Klink/stoic german personality)
-Lockdown, as an idea for a character. Also his voice.

    Cons:
-Blitzwing's other 2 faces/personalities. It bugs me that they bring back a guy I like and I can't stand him 2/3s of the time he's on screen.
-Lockdown. I know that as a geek rule, bounty hunters=awesome, but I found Lockdown lacking in the "Awesome". Sure he talks a good game with all those "it's been years since anyone blah blah me" but his actions didn't sell it for me. He gets taken down kinda easily for all his talk. Even worse for me is his awful, awful head design. Seriously every time I was looking at him all I could think was that he's Killer Croc (from Batman:TAS) in KISS makeup.

Loved this one, series is shaping up extremely nicely indeed. Wonder if we'll see Arcee again later on in the series?

seeing arcee and lockdown....see i didn't know that he was a bounty hunter.
i wondering why he wasn't in the lineup of deceptichumps!
but his allegience will change....that's a given.
Good episode though....and he didn't change alt modes from cybertron to earth which is pretty cool.

There'll be more. Just not in every episode though.

Still could have used a panoramic shot of a cameo-laden battle scene for a second or two without turning the flashbacks into Ratchet's This Is Your Life.

I'm still glad that a TF series has finally figured out that "story comes first" again because I don't think I could have taken any more "toy porn" like Energon and Cybertron.
