The line about "evil toys?" makes me think of something. Professor Princess hates evil toys. She first appeared in the episode "Sound and Fury" which had an evil toy as the main villain. Why didn't I think of this until now?

Yeah, they should all be on Youtube. "TransWarped" was designed to either be three seperate episodes or a 90-minute mini-movie (like "Transform & Roll Out"), and it aired as the mini-movie in the U.S., so most YouTube users will just have it listed as "TransWarped", without the 3 seperate parts tacked onto the title.

 

I missed this episode so I watched it on YT. I was so happy to see shockwave and strykas team, but when they just sat there and shockwave fired one time, and did nothing the rest of the time I was like "WHAT THE HELL!?" 

 

This episode SUCKED! My opinion the best part was Soundwave with Laser & Ratbat would like to see Soundblaster in the next episode.

 

I hope Soundwave manages to reprogramme the Autobots and give us evil versions of them. Optimus in Nemesis colours!   I do hope we get some recolours of the 5 in the next episode and their toy repaints sometime in the future.

 

The episode was okay, but I feel it was one of the weaker episodes of the entire show. I'm sure the second half will be much better, but like others have said, this type of story has been done to death. Also I found Laserbeak and Ratbat kind of lame. I'm just not digging them turning into guitars, I never really have. Once the novelty of Soundwave playing instruments wear off (which it did for me really quickly) it seems kind of silly. I still think to this day Soundwave should be a lap top, he could retain the blue and silver look, screen in the chest and have ejectable media in the form of flash sticks, memory cards, DVDs etc.

Ok ,this has been bothering me for a while now. This episode is set around Christmas, but how did the Autobots NOT know about it? the end of season 1 was set in the winter so they would've at least seen signs celebrating.

I mean, they're known in Detroit, not like the other series where they hid from the public and only one human knows about them. :/

EDIT: Just rewatched it again and I noticed that when Sari hit Soundwave she disconnected a loose wire. So maybe not all of them will be under. My vote is on Prowl.

The way sari was holding her chest I think Soundwave did some serious damage to her.

The episode was alright, but too many animation screw ups this time around.

 

Can't wait for part 2!!!
