Hasbro never needed to settle anything with CN.... Hasbro always had all the rights to Animated. There has also been nothing at all standing in the way of S3 dvds except the desire to do so.

Animated being back on TV is great news however. It's a sign that Hasbro is willing to get behind it again.... and such confidence and exposer could very well lead to a new video release (hopefully blu ray)finally.

Animated really could be in a possition to shake things up. If it does real well, Hasbro may rethink it's possition on Rescue Bots (in the very least) or TFP (in the very most). I'm not saying there will be more Animated.... but could lead to a more Animated like show. Who knows, things seem to change fast with little warning with Transformers these days.

Maybe this is planned move. Hasbro has stated that there are a large number of Generations figures planned for next year. Perhaps a nice chunk of them are Animated figures. Just saying.

 

Because The Hub doesn't exist in Hungary.

The only place where The Hub is competing with CN is in USA. Everywhere else they have no problem selling it to anyone.

 

YES!!!! Now I can watch ATF Season 3 again...maybe this will mean a season 3 dvd release...It would be awesome to own the best season in transformers cartoon history...what great news

I went on the Hub's webpage and animated isn't anywhere.

I guess they took the announcement off.

 

I don't think there was ever an announcement on the Hub's page.... it was from a press release another site got.

 

When is it airing?

 

Does anybody think this might have to do with the upcoming Ben 10: Omniverse, drawin by Derrick J. Wyatt?

Because they're both drawn by Derrick J. Wyatt and both aired/will air on CN.

I noticed that the Animated logo is not official, the word "Animated" is never used in the show.

 

Shows me, take a few days off and the world tilted on it's axis.  

Wasn't there a kid at BotCon who asked Derrick Wyatt WHEN TFA was going to return to the air?? Awwwww....his wish is granted.  

 

This is great news. It would even be better if they can start making new episodes. I definitely would want a season 4 and more.

 

Great news! Even better news would be IF they give the go-ahead for a new season of TFA.

Don't get me wrong... I *love* TF: Prime... but they're apples and oranges... they don't compete with one another... and you can easily enjoy both.

O rly..? DJW working on Ben10? Might revisit the series then... TBH, I enjoyed the original show... but the Alien Force got too teen angsty, wanna-be dark/serious, and just... blech... didn't care for it.

What a signal THAT would send to Hasbro execs. I highly doubt it though. TF Prime does have very solid qualities as a show including a couple of humans that are likable, although Miko makes me miss Sari SOOO much.

Still, it would be great to watch a show where the Decepticons actually mattered and were fleshed out as actual characters led by one of the most awesome versions of Megatron ever who came complete with an evil upper class British accent, and let's face it; Blitzwing and Lugnut deserved their own spin off.

Comcast just updated their "On Screen Scheduling" for 7/9 and while it does not give descriptions, it listed GI Joe Sigma 6 at 4:30 after GI Joe Renegedes, and Transformers Animated at 5:30 after Transformers Prime. All times are EST
