Thanks for the info. I don't understand why Paramount doesn't release Energon and Cybertron entire series DVD sets. With the current popularity of the Transformers, they would sell very well.

Pass, until they release an entire season as a DVD set.

Bah, given Paramount's history in DVD releases, I don't have high hopes.

Cool. Just in time for the Animated toyline's debut. The rest of Season 1 would be nice, though.

As others said, it's probably just the 90 min. movie.

Probably not. By past history, I would guess we'll get this, the first three episodes, then a few months later we'll get episode 7, 5, 8, then a few months later we'll see episode 12, 4, 9. Then, when those don't sell because they don't make any damn sense, they'll say, "see, people don't want to buy Transformers cartoons on DVD" and never release a box set.

I'd be happy if they didn't screw this up and actually did do what you said, but I'm not going to hold my breath for it.

Seeing how I've missed most of the aired episodes so far always having to work Sat. mornings, this is good news. Not as good as if they were to release the shows in season format...but I'll still take it.

IMHO, "Teen Titans" and "The Batman" are the models they need to follow when releasing on DVD. A set of 2 dvd's per season release, 13 episodes total, $19.99 MSRP, which then usually sells at Best Buy for $15 when it first comes out.

Pass. Why buy the first three episodes? They always do this and down the road then they release the whole season. Plus even if they don't by that point it will be cheaper used on sites like ebay and amazon. Don't waste your money on three episodes when they will probably sell it all together later or at worst you can get it cheaper further down the road.

QFT. If any series deserved to be releases as full seasons, it's Animated.

Wow, you said exactly what I was going to say.
Except, I would have said 'IMO' instead of 'IMHO' -:)
