Once again, I have to remind everyone that it was 2 full years after the alt line started before we got repaint with no remolding. Hasbro has done pretty well by us in this regard.

This is like the 2nd or 3rd time AHQ has had a front page news srticale with those 2 BTs in the list.

AHQ also stll continued taking preorders for BT Wildrider for months after he had been confirmed cancelled/postponed.

So then they name it something else, like they did with Meister. It's still Alternator Jazz, even if the box doesn't say so. Make an Altenator Trailbreaker but name it Overhaul, or Trackbuster, or even George Stimpleton, for all I care.

I'd like to say yay for scourge but it's way too soon after the initial release of prime to be true.

No sir, I still doubt it. If nothing else, the May release date is highly unlikely.

Hmm, could possibly be a store exclusive. Regular Optimus gets a normal release, and one store gets an exclusive black version at the same time?

When was the last time Hasbro released a store exclusive repaint concurrently with the mass retail version?

There's a first time for everything. Plus there's never been an Alt exclusive before, so we don't know how Hasbro would do it. It wouldn't surprise me one bit if that's what they are doing, a straight up repaint exclusive or mass released black version. Rollbar and Ricochet are proof of that. A simultaneous release of a regular and exclusive version might work better for Alts since there isn't a dozen or so different Alts on the shelf to chose from, like the mainlines.

I hope it's a TFCC Club exclusive. Easier to disregard that way.

If Hasbro won't let them do Alt Botcon exclusives, then I really doubt a TFCC store exclusive.

Didn't you get the memo? What happens to the convention has nothing whatsoever to do with the operating of the club! Just ask Landquake! :lol

It'll be interesting to find out who would get this as a possible exclusive...

My bet would be on TRU or Wal-Mart. Wouldn't be Target as they don't usually take more than one exclusive for TF's in a year. K-Mart just doesn't seem likely as they hardly ever get exclusives. And hopefully it isn't KB... they're even more overpirced than TRU. I would think the TCC wouldn't be able to for the reasons others have stated.

Oh well, guess we'll find out eventually.
