Here is a much better look at Deluxe lockdown!



I'm still hoping the gun can snap to his face or summit, but the looks of it it might not be possible =\

Still, looks like a good figure with not to much kibble!!

 

Keep in mind that this is the TakaraTomy version that was recently posted on the front page. Same mold, though the paint apps will probably be different.

Still, hell yes.

 

I like Lockdown more now but his legs are kind of scrawny

 

When? Not seen this guy on the front page since he was spotted in a catalogue

True but in the film he is kind of scrawny, with a beefy upper body, so it fits.

What an ugly figure

 

WHOOPS! My bad! i saw that post as well, completely skimmed Lockdown :')

 

TBH Locdown's my second fav in the line, with Hound at first.

Also, there's a gap in the gun it looks like, for the head.

Or am I only seeing that?

 

He looks pretty cool. I'm interested to see if that weapon can store in any way in vehicle mode. The deluxe cars so far have all done really well with weapon storage and I'm hoping Lockdown is no exception.

And he looks miles better than that oversized overpriced "flip & change" figure.

 

As much as I hoped there would be a pop out hook or a rotating helmet head, I don't think there is any.

 

We needed this.

 

Now how much unsightly back kibble is that gun hiding from view?

 

Doesn't look like as much as one would expect - he's got some kibble-folding on his shoulders, and his arms are also carrying some of it. What's most noticeable is that the headlights on his chest... actually appear to be his car headlights, rather than molded-on details. So, hopefully, it's just the roof and windshield.

 

The whole top of the car; the hood, the windshield, roof and rear "window" panel are not accounted for on the arms and chest.

The Windshield is hugging his back, but I can't figure out which panel IS his back and where the other two go. I guess we'll see at botcon next week if those panels are on his back or if they are in his chest/flip around to form that chestplate.

 

Unless there's something disastrously wrong with him, he's probably the only car bot I intend to get from the movie line.

 

Robot mode looks good, Lambo mode looks good, just needs more powah.

 

His head might have a hole for a peg in the back?

Maybe the head folds don and the gun peg goes in it.

 

There's a space in the gun in front of the hand that you can see his thigh wheel through in that pic, with what looks like a pair of tabs hanging down from it. If there's slots in his head, that's what those are for.

 

Nervous about the kibble, but the front of him looks pretty poseable. Wish he came with an alternate head/helmet, but I'd probably get used to it, especially if his character is well-written in the movie.
