They're going off Bay's uncertainty regarding whether he'd return and Jablonsky's own lack of knowledge (understandable since he's not as high on the chain of command like say Spielberg or di Bonaventura and would be tapped once they got the next movie going).

    I call BS. Besides, money.

That website has so many bullshit articles about Rodimus, Beast Wars, Galvatron and treats it as newsworthy articles. Even more reason to call BS.

FAKE! There is no way in hell that Paramount wouldn't make another one (with or without Bay) after the last two films both grossed over a billion dollars.

Just because we don't know much about Transformers 5 doesn't mean its not going to happen. I'm pretty sure Paramount and Hasbro are just relaxing in a big tub of the boat load of cash the fourth one has made for right now. Anything on Transformers 5, whether it says its going to happen or it might not, must be taken with a grain of salt.

This is just one article that's trying to create hype. There's absolutely nothing behind this to say that it's actually true.

I highly doubt it. Unless they mean prequels.

Enstarz always posts bizarre stuff like that. Just like how they made an article saying that the "The king is down" line from "Battle Cry" indicates that Optimus will die in AoE, but, that didn't happen.

I could see where things are a bit uncertain right now.

Box office was up in China but down in the US so just how much does Paramount want to invest part 5? If Bay really is going to leave the director's chair then who to get next and should they find someone that can mimic the Bay style or go another way? Just loads of questions right now that the production chain has to tackle before saying okay we have another film that should start shooting in so and so.

With out a big stable of mega films it seems like Paramount really doesn't have many choices right now if they need a huge summer film. So Bay or no Bay, same direction or taking a risk on a new direction I think the odds are way up there that Paramount will do something with Transformers.

What a complete farce of an article. Forget the grammatical errors, the quotes are absolutely comical. As if Steve Jablonski, the composer of the musical score...the final piece of a 2-3 year cycle, has any clue about the next movie. TF4 is still in theaters for God's sake. Why don't we all just take a breather and accept the reality. Bay needs a movie studio to back his odd projects, for example Pain & Gain. He gets Paramount to agree to his 'arthouse' project in exchange for him delivering another blockbuster. Paramount says yes, Bay makes his film about elephants, then he blows shit up with reckless abandon. Paramount rakes in the cash.

Don't any of you guys understand the concept of leverage?

I hope they make a 5th, but I wouldn't be surprised if they stopped with the 4th film. It ended well enough that they can get away with not continuing it.

Seems real to me but only in the sense that production hasn't started as of yet. To be honest it seems like bays management or whoever helps him negotiate deals etc are putting the frighteners on paramount and us fans by implying that the franchise cannot continue without Bay.....we all know that's not true and it could potentially be even better so worth remembering this is an interview or blog regarding the business end of the deal so like you say....over a billion dollars and a film already been confirmed for 2016/17 ......c'mon guys what do you think? Paramount is just gonna pass up another 500% + profit margin......NOT ON YOUR LIFE !!!
