My name is Roger and I am 14. This is my first time dry-brushing so go easy on me.

So what I've done here is taken a transformers AOE Grimlock and repainted him from his weird bronze color to his correct weathered silver look

First i took him apart and cleaned him up. It took awhile to sort his screws into bags

Next, I painted on the base coat. For this a used flat black enamel spray paint.

Then I applied the silver paint. I used a silver testors enamel. For this, I used the dry-brushing technique.

Lastly, I added a coat of sealant to help prevent flaking, damage, and people.

    Comments and criticism are welcome.

I am listing this on eBay if anyone is interested

That's some insanely good work, especially for your age.

Very nice. As a fellow teenager, I applaud you for your effort. Great drybrushing, but what sealant did you use? I think it's a tad too glossy. And you may want to paint the eyes to bring out some detail. Once again, I'm very impressed.

I actually completely agree. I didn't notice how glossy it was until after the sealant had. I used rustoleum gloss clear.

Not bad, yup just add a splash of blue to the eyes and you've got a pretty good custom.

Excellent work! I wish I could do this kind of thing, just don't have the time or money to practice

For sealant, I use a flat clear coat, there are almost no reflexions :)
    Good work
