((Sign up thread is here. The original comic this is based off of, meanwhile, is here. You can read it if you want, but it's perfectly fine to jump in blind. Rules: 1. No godmodding. This should be a given. 2. You are limited to the list of provided characters, and only up to 12 of them at any given time. As it stands, this RP is limited to them, and only to them. 3. Devaron9 is the moderator of this, not me-- I'm just the creator. First off, that means if there is a dispute, it goes to him, not me. Second, if he makes a decision, you'd best respect it. 4. OOC should be represented by the use of double elipses ((like so)) 5. Give your opponent time to react, don't react for them. This ties in with the whole "no godmodding" thing. 6. Make sure to have all of your posts have enough meat to reply to. One-word replies don't add much of anything and just slow the entire process down. 7. Keep it civil. 8. Have fun!)) Earth. A typical peaceful night in Texas. The stars shown brilliantly overhead, gleaming like jewels in a great cosmic crown. For decades, humanity would look up at these stars and wonder just what was up there. Was there intelligent life elswhere in the cosmos? This was a question that lingered in the minds of countless humans. They were about to get their answer. Lightning surged overhead. This was no ordinary thunderstorm, however. Something about the electricity in the air seemed... unnatural. If anyone were awake and watching, it would soon become apparent why. This was no lightning, it was the first manifestations of a portal in the sky. A bright blue wormhole opened up and three jets of extraterrestrial design flew out. One was jet-black with purple lining, another a medium blue, and the third and final white with red and blue highlights. These three were Seekers. Their mission: find an energon-rich world, infiltrate whatever military power was present, discover their greatest weapon, then neutralize it so that the rest of their army-- and their leader, Megatron-- could arrive. Meanwhile, in Oregon, the Autobots would be alerted to the presence of new aliens on the planet via their computer...
"I don't care what it's called," the black seeker replied. "I just wanna know if we hit paydirt yet."
Thundercracker complied, scanning the surrounding area. "Starscream, energon readings are off the charts! We just found ourselves a winner!"
"Scans indicate there's a military installation 2 megakliks southwest, give or take. If we set down there we should be able to assume the alternate modes of the local aircraft."
The seekers touched down at the military complex, eyeing the jets in the bunker. "Why don't we just blow the place up?" This earned him a slap to the back of the head by Thundercracker. "Right now our orders are to assume a disguise and infiltrate this planet's military network."
Thundercracker, simply wishing to get the operation over with, picked the first thing he could find-- an F-22. He grunted as his body reconfigured itself to accommodate the new alternate mode. Skywarp, meanwhile, scanned a Stealth Bomber purely for aesthetic appeal.
"Hey, shut up, you wanna wake the whole planet?!" Starscream replied, his scanner accidentally scanning a prototype jet fighter.
"Alright, that takes care of phase one. Phase two, we hack past their security..." _______________________________________________________________ Alpha Bravo rapped on the door to Optimus' quarters. "Commander? There's something you're going to want to take a look at..."
Thundercracker unleashed a nigh-undetectable virus into the mainframe. "Let's see what I can find..." He began skimming through as many files as he could find. "Bah, there's nothing but junk here! Tax records and other useless docu-- waiiiiiiit a sec... What's this 'Area 51'?"
