    I've thought of a question.

Ask them, if possible, what led them to deciding to choosing characters such as Sixshot, Flamewar Quake etc, characters with not a lot popularity or history, but play a significant role in this series, and if we can expect more of this in the future.

After having another look at the solicitations I’m wondering if they’ve swapped issues 9 and 10 around.

Okay, can we PLEASE get Malkova to do more of the art for the comics? Hernandez is doing much better than the first issue, don't get me wrong, but Malkova's style is just so much more emotive and detailed, I love it!

Really enjoyed the big fights in this issue, and ESPECIALLY the interrogation scene with Prowl and Headlock. Makes me glad that this Prowl still have bits of his 2005 self in this reboot.

I guess the only thing left to ask is if Windblade is dead or not? I mean, I don't imagine Ruckley killing her off this early, if at all, so I'm pretty sure she's safe. May be out for a few issues though.

Overall one of the best issues of this comic yet! Glad to see the story finally picking up!

    9/10

    Color me surprised to see
    Sixshot
In the game so early, but seeing him now really gets me thinking how
Megatron plans on getting everyone to either kill each other , kick the organics out, or at least get people to rebel against the higher ups then become evil somewhere down the line through this network of espionage. Maybe Sixshot is his own man but something tells me this "Commander" is someone we're all too familiar with.

This is starting to heat up fast but also
is it me or is Sentinel Prime being set up to be murdered by the "Rise"? He comes home, he gives a "We're in the good era" speech, then BAM sniper to the face by some unknown assailant.

The irony of Shitstriker telling Sixshot she’ll rip one of his arms off is that Sixshot did the same thing to Jazz way back in Devastation issue 4. With no effort at all.

I'll second what everyone else is saying: Malkova is crushing it with the art. The story feels extra lively and exciting when she's drawing it <3. I wonder if there's a reason they aren't having her do more--maybe her schedule is full with other projects?

Really wish Malkova had drawn the entire issue. No offense to the other artist, but her art is way better.

Just pray that the author is familiar with who Sixshot is and why he's a big fucking deal.

I mean, it's not like this was just a way to show that Shadowstriker thinks very highly of herself and thinks she can do whatever she wants.

I could hardly follow the action for most of the issue. The art isn’t bad when it’s just characters standing and talking, but there’s very little sense of sequencing. I feel like Windblade just appears in one place and then suddenly is somewhere else.

The story has picked up, which is great, but damn I wish this comic just looked nicer.

I was kinda disappointed that Sixshot wasn't presented as more of a threat. It makes sense, however, if a society has not been at war for a while for him not to have some massively feared reputation. Prior iterations of Sixshot had millions of years of war under their belt with Sixshot razing entire planets. Here? Shadowstriker may not have an inkling of what Sixshot can do. For all we know he had better things to do than to put her in her place, or perhaps she holds a strategic value that doesn't allow him to beat the hell out of her on a whim... or perhaps he's just a professional and really doesn't need to knock her head off like a shitty 80's cartoon villain. On the other hand, this version Shadowstriker may actually be more powerful than Sixshot - we honestly don't know.

That said, I was pretty annoyed with his piss-poor combat with Chromia and Windblade. Again, I get that the setting suggests he may not be a hardened warrior yet, but he /IS/ Sixshot. I'd have assumed he would have had enough natural skill to not get punked and pull a Cobra Commander in his first outing.

Oh well. Plenty of time to address it as the series goes. Let's hope he doesn't go out like a punk offscreen like in IDW1.

A lot of action and nobody seems to take a scratch on the paint. Chromia being able to block two grenades and function as usual? So much for weapon efficiency.
And c'mon they're cybertronians, they don't need an ipad to play drones.

If they haven't fought for a while, Cybertronian defense hardware may have outpaced it's mass-produced and/or readily available weapon tech. I mean, I know that's a reach, but it's plausible.
