"G1 but throw in some random beast wars" seems to be what hasbro thinks will stick this time, huh?

every new step i feel like hasbro totally misunderstands why people are fans of parts of the brand lol they just see "hmmmmm they like g1 and want beast wars so let's just tick those boxes."

 

Lets hope these critters are actual characters. My only concern is that "beasts" will be synonymous with "mindless animals" ala the AOE/TLK Dinobots.

So we’re still getting the Bumblebee sequel and the BW movie, right? Because I’m not sure if the beast characters are from BW or G1. Although putting BW characters in this movie would be a nice lead-in to the eventual BW movie...

 

So Kingdom but as a movie and it's in the 90s? Cool cool

 

So this leads some credibility to those earlier plot leaks talking about Cheetor being around, but multiple beasts? At the same TIME as vehicles? Given the Ark crash scenario isn't in play this time around, so there's no "Murder Optimus Prime to change the outcome of the Great War" reason for why Beast Wars even happens, how exactly they'll explain any of this is beyond me.

At the very least they're setting up the dumb 'Transformers were here ALL ALONG' garbage from the outset as opposed to progressively retconning the retcons so hopefully there's more of an actual plan moving forward.

 

Just retcon every movie that isn't Bumblebee out and we'll already be on a better path.  

I'd actually be surprised if I actually saw people other than normies make an issue of Beast Wars characters being involved.

They could also blow our minds and adapt the old BW toy bios where they were giant beasts waging war on modern day Earth, only with other vehicle Transformers still present.

 

Well, seeing as Michael Bay isn't involved the chances of them being actual, factual characters is higher than if he was still making the movies.

 

Finally something new. 

 

... I'd genuinely love to see them do something like that, just because I think it'd make for a cool crossover / combined story. Who here wouldn't like to see a film with Trukk and Munkey beat up bucket-head and evil barney?

 

The beasts turn out to be Predaking! I'm not complaining if that's the case.

 

Now I want this to be the premise of the movie and will be disappointed if it isn’t.

 

Are they about to ruin my childhood, by having Beast Wars characters on Earth with modern day humans  
Beast Wars saved the franchise without the need for human characters. An incredible story involving the golden disks and time warps, so having G1 optimus in there and some random humans sounds like a mess already.
