Yes, there are certainly strengths to the new series but blowing three pages on variations of Bumblebee moping, with art that fails dismally to convey nuances of expression and dialogue that's boilerplate at best, is alarming to say the least. Everything we've had so far could have been a really tight, intense and intriguing 3-issue arc - the fact that it's been twice that long turns it into a meandering crawl.
Original Marvel US and UK were similar. Not every issue had action, but a slow build, leading to a number of issues with the action. I think IDW may have spoiled us with so much happening in each issue, many aren't used to a slower pace. Love that cover. Shame it'll be $10 at the LCS.

Am I the only one, hoping this version of Bumblebee jumps. Also, Bumblebee's scale compared to the buildings around him, seems to be way off.

These comics have been hot garbage for a while now. This honestly has to be the most boring series yet, toping the emo "its all my fault" Optimus Prime series. Man... bring back that Roberts writing from the Lost Light.
Man, back to this artist again? THEY CAN\'T CONVEY EMOTION OR MAJESTY. Ruckley... STOP SCRIPTING SCENES THAT REQUIRE THESE BEAUTIFUL VISTAS AND BACKGROUNDS. THEY WON\'T BE EXECUTED PROPERLY. When I read a comic and am literally distracted by the conviction that I could DEFINITELY do it better myself.. that\'s a PROBLEM.

At least three artists worked on it, one of them being Andrew Griffith, who is excellent. But yeah the art in the preview sucks ass
Jesus Christ, could this be any more boring? All I get from these previews is mopey fuckin robots literally sitting/standing around doing nothing. If these previews are meant to entice readers in any capacity, they are failing miserably.

I would be happy if there is Jazz or Mirage from the G1. I did notice there is no Hot Rod, Ultra Magnus and even Knock Out. This method of new Cybertronian coming fro the pyramid leaves a lot be desired. I am thinking hurry up Megatron start the Civil War. The problem with Bumblebee is that he is not my favorite character. I am not a great writer but your catalyst should be Brainstorm murder not Rubble's.
We\'re 7 issues in and this boring ass arc hasn\'t ended yet. Have these people never written a comic before?
