Hopefully this means hasbro is abandoning their whole x number of steps thing for the main line. Considering how well Titans return is selling as opposed to RID, it wouldn't really surprise me.

A distinct improvement on the Knight/Tanker look with Optimus.

It's still a little disappointing to me though, since it doesn't have enough truck kibble and it gives the impression we won't see too much of him on Earth.

But it's the same design as AOE, it's just a new toy.

I hope that is the Voyager. I was disappointed by the lack of one of these in the Age of Extinction line. Yes, we got the old-truck version, but not the revamped new look.

Whoever leaked this was wise to omit an image of Prime's back though. I'm in suspense over the amount of back kibble he may, or may not, have.

Finally, a movie toy leak!!! He looks nice--a definite improvement (I say this as someone who likes the "
First Edition" mold--I have the Silver Knight version). Count me in the group hoping this one's a voyager.

Looks awful. Shell forming piece of junk like in AOE :(

People already know the full transformation scheme? Where is that displayed? I see no base for argument that this isn't AOE retool/paint

I don't know the full transformation scheme, but I can assure you, an AOE remold this is not.

Looks very similar to the first edition AOE OP. Definitely improved but until articulation becomes part of the version I have no desire

Then try looking at the base figures for both.

Still a shellformer but it's definitely a better model than the last leader version.

I'm just thinking, if they're able to pull that off with a voyager...

...what would a LEADER look like?

The roof seems to be 1 big piece so I'm guessing OP is still going to have a decent size backpack.

Great job finding this. I agree on Voyager class.

Its OK, but I may not pay for another OP unless its stellar. And this is just sub par...

More interested in new car molds or Megatron...

    Keep the update coming!  :)

Understandable. I will concede. With a little faith, maybe it will be worth it. I need more detail. Well, fingers crossed

And the effect of having the same design for a second movie makes itself know. Just like how ROTF introduced better versions of characters from the first film. That and it seems like they're actually trying this time. Yes, I know that it's hard to make figures from these designs but, having the sides of the truck hanging off the side last time just reeks of laziness. Or cost-cutting.
