Thanks for keeping us in the loop as always, Paul. Was wondering if you've heard anything from Jada regarding die-cast toys for the character Hot Rod (Lamborghini Centenario). Only time we even knew that thing to exist was when it was shown as a sample at a toy event. Please let me know, thanks :)

It looks like Optimus must be a slightly different scale as he doesn't seem much bigger than the cars in any of the scales.

Hot Rod's are all Walmart exclusives, though I suspect ebay sellers will have them.

Are these going to be sold in stores in America. Walmart, Kmart, Booksamillion, Newbury Comics, Gamestop. Those are my options here (pathetic. I know:lol )

And Paulmart is in the US?

I'd assume so; Hot Rod is Walmart exclusive so I'd imagine they'll probably carry the others. Not sure whether they'll be so easily available elsewhere in the world, as all the ebay sellers who have them are US based as is Paulmart.

It just dawned on me that collecting all 3 builds a super-mural. Reminds me of what they did with the Fast and Furious line, and how each car in the set contained a part to build another car. Neat.

I'm surprised that there was any effort to correctly use the word "scale" with respect to Transformers. :deadhorse:

1:62 Hot Rod out in the open in U.S. as a Walmart exclusive. Should be a matter of time before he is joined by his Deluxe counterpart.

I ordered the 1:24 scale Optimus Prime & Bumblebee, they will be arriving soon. :D  As soon as they do I'll have some reviews on them up on my review channel, with special attention given. These look rad. I'm stoked

See more in the review, but this should give you good idea about that. They also have really cool art underneath (see video review above) of the robot I'll take some more pics late but I was short on time due to these taking FOR EVER to get out the box

Here's a pic of their "robot modes" lol Very nice paint work, even the bot designs are painted well on embossed plastic type picture art. Screenshot_2017-06-21-00-23-11.png

Since the manufacturer was completely unable to find a good picture of him, Barricades decides to be a complete dick and steal Optimus Prime's spot instead. He did not regret it.

Barricade is the biggest disappointment for me as Hasbro never bothered to get licensing from Ford or Saleen for the Mustang design. Instead it looks kind of like a Mustang. Cadillac rear end, Ford Taurus-like headlights, and deformed side rear windows. Me being a huge muscle car nut, this is not the Mustang seen on screen. Bums me out as the same is true for the Deluxe toy. I loved Barricade's design. Aside from that, I may get Crosshairs and Hot Rod if I can find them. Not sure about Bumblebee as he looks more like a spaceship car than a Camaro. I hope to see it in person to make a better decision on that. They'll go well with my 1:24 die-cast model car collection. :)
