Odd. This was announced in February as seemingly a finished project with a ship date of September. Surprised to see it as a Kickstarter now.

I’m happy because as a Kickstarter you’re more likely to be able to just order a complete set and be done with it.

 

What if the KS campaign came with random assortments for the novelty experience.  

 

Nah. I feel jerked around at this point. I was on the fence as it was. These would have been a fun thing to have at a table for a con. Stuff to just crack open while vending. I don't recall the price when they eventually said it but it was kind of absurd to me. I was out then. KS campaign has me fully out now.

 

Wait, so what's that new product? are they different from these? Transformers 40th Anniversary Collector Box of 24 Trading Card Packs (bigbadtoystore.com)

Also has anyone seen when the full set advertised months ago is coming out?

 

This seems to be that. For many months I've been looking for updates. And now to find that it's morphed into a kickstarter is massively disappointing.

 

Wait... I see BBTS still has a listing for this. Is it exactly the same?? I don't get it.

 

Those are the random packs. I think the kickstarter will be for the whole set. Not sure yet.

What BBTS has the listing for is what I've been looking for updates on for months and could never find any info about. Then this kickstarter thing popped up and it's the same cards. Same product.

I don't know the details because there are none on the kick page, but this is the same thing.
Whether there's special bonuses only on the kick or it will be the only place you can purchase - I don't know.

This is absolutely the same product, though.
