    unless some brazen company is imitating hasbro, these look official as opposed to 3rd party.

    Sorry, I am new here and want to make sure this was posted in the correct area. Apologies if I was incorrect.

    These are Official, and licensed by Hasbro, but Dynamite is the one producing and selling the cards

    It's cool. It took me a while to get a hang on what went where when I first joined (Welcome by the way!). A mod will come along and move this to the other area.

    They are very nostalgic images and I didn't know about these. Thanks for the heads up! :)

    it’s not unconfusing…

    1st party = hasbro/takara
    2nd party = licensed? (someone correct me)
    3rd party = unlicensed producer
    4th party = unlicensed producer making parts/upgrades for 3rd party.

    There's this easily missable part of the forum description that says it's for unlicensed 3P. I made the same mistake early on too.

    1st party: HasTak (more broadly the license holder)
    2nd party: The buyer (ie You)
    3rd party: Everyone else, licensed or unlicensed
    4th party: Nonsensical term the fandom has adopted to mean a KO (there's no-one else left by here)
