Where was the magazine found two months before it is due to hit the newsstand? Just curious as this is a must have.

That's pretty cool how they made blueprints however after watching a lot of Futurama and I can't help but not see it as robot porn. @_@

Yeah, they are pull out attached/extended pages so it needs a A3 scanner to scan them. If you have one Funky then do it man!!! The quality is really good on them and Galvatron in particular looks amazing.

It's a posted subscription copy. They normally hit news stands a couple of days later in the UK. It's bizarre but most magazines work this way and show a month on the front of the current mag that is usually at least a month ahead of the true date. So July's issue lands ready for June!

While I don't agree with BB Shockwave, I do feel the face gun is inefficient. In the time he's taking to transform into the gun another bot with ready weapons could have fired off a couple shots at him taking him to the ground anyway. Won't know for certain until we see it in action without the camera cuts, but right now it takes too long. To me the face gun is kinda lame anyway. I do like most of his design, however, but I'm unsure of it for Lockdown. I felt Lockdowns animated design already fit in with Bay's aesthetic, evidenced by RotF Lockdown (Now G1).

I dunno if it still works this way, but when I ran a newsagents way back, many magazines used to show the date as when it comes off sale, so a magazine with a July date on the cover would come off the stands at the end of June. Assuming it came out at the very start of the month. Monthlies that come out within the middle of the month make things more confusing. Those often have split months on the cover, so 'June/July' for example.

Totally agree but with Bay, logic doesn't seem to come into it. Does it look cool? Yes. Then it's in! Will wait to see how it plays out in the film but it does seen pretty lame.

That makes sense, although it still bizarre that the customer is buying 'July's' copy at the end of May. Almost like the month on the front is a reminder to remove the issue for newsagents rather than be any indicator to the customer.

With the images, Bumblebee looks a bit of a mess, almost like they have thrown loads of ideas at him, losing the overall design in the process.

Edit: love the lightsabres sig. Gentleman's relish? :)

Meh, must be because of Michael Bay's slow motion.

I had intended to buy the issue, but when I got it in-hand in the store this morning and had a quick look at the blueprints I kinda felt like it wasn't worth buying the magazine for.
Still, I suppose I've got a month to change my mind, and it's not like there are many TF figures here in the UK worth throwing my money at right now.

Maybe they should have had no affiliation against him? Isn't he supposed to be a bounty hunter and affiliated to neither side?

Yeah I'd agree, they are not worth buying the magazine for alone. But as a nice bonus they are pretty cool. They do make all the designs look better, Galvatron and Lockdown in particular. Although I'm liking Bumblebee even less!
