The new July issue of EMPIRE magazine includes a new article on Transformers 4 AOE as well as some nice gatefold 'blueprints' of Galvatron, Lockdown, Prime and Bumblebee. They are too big to scan unfortunately so these are phone images.

Yeah, hope so. They are pretty big images and Optimus is over three A4 sides!

 

I like Bee's crab-claw weapon. It looks kind of like Megatron's arm cannon in ROTF.

 

Nice, I'll have to see if the local Barnes & Noble has any of these in stock.

Yeah, those look REALLY good. Very detailed, especially Galvatron. Really our first detailed look at him.

EDIT: That said, you cannot tell he's a semi-truck AT ALL. That will be an interesting transformation.

 

Lockdown many be labeled as such because he's a bounty hunter and maybe its marked as both because we arr not supposed to know whose side he's on?

Lockdown looks like a Terminator.

 

I always chuckle whenever I notice that you can basically see right through these guys, they have so many exposed joints and cables/hydraulics not covered by armor plates.

Bay and his gang should take a hint from Pacific Rim on how to design realistic-looking giant robots. I could easily cripple this Lockdown in the legs and shoulders with puny human weapons even...

 

Awesome. Galvatron look's pretty cool.

 

Bumblebee looks quite beefy there, but don't get that impression in any of the trailers. Still don't know what to think about the ninja star alloys, I am warming to them though. Just going to take a decapitation to make them a winner for me.

Interesting... I like that, kind of like how Lockdown had a rub symbol in Animated.

 

KSI seems to be the equivalent of MECH from the Transformers Prime storyline, imo...

These are uber-cool. It's funny how each almost has it's own aesthetic. Lockdown's very angualr, made up o mostly straight or sharp pieces, wheras Prime is really smooth with lots of differentcurves and bends.

 

So I guess that's Galvatron at the start of the newest trailer laying there.

I wonder if KSI is going to "recycle" Megatron's body to make Galvatron.
