Well, and if Megs gets reformatted into Galvatron that could set up Unicron for a part 2 (or more likely part 3) if they plan the broad strokes from the start.

If its true, that is.

 

He has obviously allowed himself to be captured in order to obtain more faces for his collection.


On a side note, if they do include the dinobots, I hope they at least use the IDW incarnation. I really don't feel like two fucking hours of "ME GRIMLOCK". Ugh.

 

So Galvatron is in it?............not surprised one bit. Actually not surprised at any of this really. I'll be surprised if Bumblebee is given a backseat role and Prowl is the front run character and BB is just always nex to him to show he's still a presence.

 

It's actully very good, most of the rumors or speculations they have turn out to be true or close, it's very reliable, so if they said they heard this then they heard it, but is the person giving the information reliable?

I don't see Hasbro guiding Bay's designs so overtly. I think the movie drives what Hasbro is doing more so than the other way around. Bay is essentially given the treasure trove of history that is TF lore and Hasbro says, do what you want with these- with perhaps minimal guidance. Hasbro seems to be driving the Dinobots concept both because of the popularity of the characters thanks to High Moon AND what the movie seeks to do with them. Although it's hard to tell if High Moon's efforts perhaps inspired Bay to use them or Bay talked about using them and then Hasbro and High Moon jumped on the band wagon.

Regardless, I see the movie driving Hasbro all the way to town.

 

It doesn't matter who they put in the movie, they'll all be eye candy and no substance just like the previous films. Please Mr. Bay, prove me wrong!

 

It would be amazing to see some sort of cybertronian horserider, but Optimus on Grimlock seems very Bayish.

 

I think that all sounds good, but I'm not believing it's backed up by set photos or toy prototypes. I'm predicting Michael Bay will post on his website saying "LIES!"

 

Not that I dont believe this rumor but we have been hearing rumors of Dinobots and Galvatron since ROTF. :S I do hope we get to see Grimlock at least.

i can see lockdown's collection including the corpse of megatron and somehow with parts of dead autobots on his ship, galvatron is created. and at the end of the film, the ship floats off into space and gets sucked up by unicron, setting up the next movie.

 

Ooh not a collector for the movie figures, but I will if it's dinobots!

 

As much as I hate to say it, if we get 5 similar style dinobot toys I'd be happy. All I want are 5 matching Dinobots!

Im glad to get another installment. I like all the movies so far, and appreciate that they are thier own universe with nods to different generations of Bots and Cons. Sad to see some are already on the "movie is crap" bandwagon when its not even out yet.......o well, I will enjoy the ride!
