I can't speak for TLP, but here's my take on the process..

From what I've gathered, most of the stuff that TLP has posted has been info that can't be attributed to a single person.

    The Twins
    - Anyone involved in filming that scene.
    - Anyone involved in transporting those vehicles to the set

    Tilting Office Building
    - Anyone involved in filming that scene.

    Megatron returning
    - Anyone involved in filming that scene.
    - Production seeing head-on-a-stick props.

Even then, you have any one of the above people who could talk to family members, friends, etc.

Now, contrast this to your next point..

Often, there's not one script, especially with summer blockbusters.

Scripts tend to be watermarked, or have little nuances used to identify a script if it leaks.

    Like say:

    SAM
I don't get it Optimus! Why me?!

    SAM
I don't understand Optimus! Why me?!

    SAM
Why me?! I don't get it!

    SAM
Why me? I don't get it!!

    ..or fake scenes between characters..

    ..different locations mentioned..

    ..objects..

..name placeholders.. (which are a good indication of how current a draft might be.)

With the way the last two leaked, security has to be even higher this time around.

The only reason we've gotten so much this early is because of all the public stuff being filmed. Closed sets are easier to control -- look at Inception for an example of this.

With all the information coming out, it's a little easier to sneak out info with all the other stories circulating, I'd imagine.

Because its on open sets it is easy to predict what is happen in the movie.

Yeah its obvious that Dempsy is a investor for Hotchkiss because we saw him come out of the building.

Yeah he could be pretender because where he was standing he osmotic when Shia is holding the big pole and going to whack at it.

And it wasn't even only by him to mention that the set of tilting office was behing made.

I'm finding it hard to believe that unless he's close to the crew members he'd know what is happening. And even then, in a movie like this ONLY Bay would have final script and they wouldn't even call the robots by their official names.

I'm not impressed at the least

They're identical so I'd say they're all one Decepticon and used for different shots/backups.

That's so weird, they said 2 trailers are being used that are to different transformers, so if what I saw was indeed a production truck I dont know why they kept it in wraps or why they said it would be shot in the movie.........Im so comfused lol

Wow, that would be... wow. At least he'd have what Alice never did: A Robot name.

You never know. Soundwave could have "ejected" him for infiltration between ROTF and TF3.

Fans would debate for years whether he had a blue suit or a red suit on?

Hey, guys. Sorry that I haven't been able to follow the boards as closely as I would like so I might have missed it. But I saw this pic that someone posted of Prime's trailer. The Blue part on the front of the trailer reminds me of Sideswipe's jetpack on the THS-02 Toy. Is Prime trading in his Jetfire parts for Sideswipe's jetpack?

Maybe they are talking about the two trailers for Optimus, one is the closed version used for common action scenes, the other is an open platform equipped with pyrotechnics, will later be covered with CGI elements for special action scenes…

They are hiding the white truck and trailer because it’s the one that carries the most expansive cars (the Ferrari and Sideswipe), it’s the same transporting company used also for ROTF, so I guess that some production team member thought it will be funny to put the NEST stamps on it, as you will notice from the pictures below, it has the “operated by Paramount Pictures” sign on it, it’s only used on production vehicles, not on movie vehicles (also added a peek of what’s inside)

hmmm, yeah I hope it's certainly not as simple as that. Alice wasn't even really a Pretender in the proper G1 sense of the concept of a traditional transformer in an addition organic shell - infact in the novelisation their was nothing organic about her at all as her alt mode was an animatronic model. Either way, the idea of robots disguising themselves as people defeats the whole point of what Transformers are about for me.

Yeah, "Alice" kind of ruined the idea of Pretenders. I think that was the most complained about new character of ROTF. If they do use another Pretender, here's hoping that they do it in a way that doesn't make us scratch our heads.

You mean to tell me that, to you, robots disguising themselves goes against the fundamental idea of Transformers...

You do realize that the ORIGINAL tag-line for Transformers was: "Robots in Disguise" right?

That the CORE CONCEPT of the franchise is, and always has been, a race of alien machines are fighting their civil war on Earth, right under our noses, but that we don't notice it because they are capable of DISGUISING themselves and thus hiding in plain sight.

That the most basic idea of the ENTIRE FRANCHISE is that ANYTHING could be one of these Robots in Disguise, and thus "more than meets the eye"...

    ROLLBAR NOT IN TF3!

Not trying to hijack the thread or derail the current conversation, but Nelson just confirmed Rollbar is not part of the film:

Interesting....very interesting. How long has this been discussed? It seems a couple weeks at least. Why did Nelson wait so long to debunk it? Maybe they were considering it for a Jolt-like roll? Not really a character but there, but they decided against it now?
