Good old Gary Indiana! I remember that place being the hell hole of middle america. A few years back, it had once of the worst crime rates and was number 1 for rapes and murders in the United States.

I just see how this will play out as Optimus Prime, Bumbleebee, and the rest are taken to the local chop shop and sold for parts, not for auto repair, but for movie souvenirs!!

God, if there was ever a place that need to be hit from Orbit with a particle beam cannon, that would be it!

Its sad, but Gary is one of the most Dilapitated cities in the Country, and..... It smells, the city itself actually stinks, it's a result of all the industry in the area. you really have to drive by with your windows up and your cars air off.

 

If that's what you're looking for, Gary is most certainly the place.

 

funny, there was a special series on discovery channel i think "if humans disappeared" or something like that. it talks about different parts of the world, cities and structures that if we dont maintenance our buildings they'd simply collapse on their own and crumble. there was a quick segment how in gary indiana, the city would pretty much look like everything else already due to the fact that there so many abandoned buildings already that no one takes care of. good job for them with the movie being there.
