    Pretty UNcool that paramount is making us do double dipping on a movie but THANK YOU my friend for letting me know MORE about this dvd and what to watch out for. You have helped my purchase of the right package as well as my dollar go a little farther. Thanks for the review.

    So why do u double dip may i ask? Can't u just get the Super 3D edition instead once its out?

    they are not, they're giving you a choice. they mentioned it in the announcement that there going to be a deluxe special edition release later at the end of the year. so choose, buy now, buy later, or buy now and later (double dip).

    Chances are the DVD would be coming out later either way if they were just releasing the one with the special features on it. It's nice that they're giving us the option of getting the movie early instead of waiting months for features some people might not want.

    Yeah, that's what I heard, no special features. It seems that Bay has said that a special edition in 3D and with all the special features will be released later this year. Hopefully we get plenty of deleted scenes or perhaps even a Director's Cut like Bay did with Pearl Harbor (which made the movie a lot better than the theatrical cut).

    Still gotta wait though as the normal bluray doesn't come out here till the end of November.

    It is what it is...I'm gonna buy it and buy it again....why ...this version gives me what I need for now..a Blu-Ray version for me and a DVD version for my Dad til it comes out w the special features come late Nov. I'm just happy to have it so quick but I think its them just trying to make fans happy....If you don't wan't to "Double dip" then don't buy it til late Nov. plain and simple...
