This is part of the 2010 campaign items.
It comes with the campaign points that you need to collect in order to exchange (+ cash) to get something big at the end of the campaign.

EDIT: Actually I wonder if it is the grand prize for the campaign itself. It doesn't have the barcode that comes with regular boxes and according to the words from the 2nd picture they seemed to be a limited release version of the 2 most wanted figures from the Henkei toy line.

Clear plastic Prime and Rodimus... more clear plastic 3rd party parts for those maybe? :D

It's beautiful! They're awesome looking toys and the packaging is simply the best way to display them both. It really brings out the crystal goodness of the set.

Yes, there are pictures of the Animated molds and of course they're not the same thing, they're different molds.

But does this mean there are 2 sets coming out? (If so how do I order both?)

OR, perhaps plans changed and this is what will be released instead of the animated molds. Anybody have any information about both sets being released? Maybe the 'classic' molds version is just for this event in the Phillipines?

Unless the price is just stupid, I'll be getting this for sure. Just another classics Hot Rod I'll be getting this year. All of a sudden, I'm going to have more of that mold than I know what to do with.

    ...

You can't get this one. It's a prize for a contest/event in the PHILIPPINES. NOT FOR JAPAN.

Although, why the box is in Japanese is beyond me... Maybe it'll see release in Japan too?

    From the first post:

Is there other information you have about it being a prize? I'm sure it is, but it's not clear that it's only a prize. Alternity UM isn't only a prize for this Phillipines event, right?

    True enough.

But we certainly haven't heard it solicited from Tak/Tom yet - and Alternity Magnus was out months ago...

    Box description (poorly) translated:

As you can see, this set, Supreme Commander Optimus Prime and Cavalier Rodimus, consists of 2 special limited edition items acclaimed by fans for "Transformers Classics" and "Henkei! Henkei! Transformers".
Year 2010 is not only the 25th memorial year for Japanese Transformers toys and TV media, also have one big meaning for Japanese fans.
Yes, shown in the title of the 2nd TV cartoon series "Transformers 2010", this year is the same as setting year of the cartoon.
Please keep this in hand for ever as a such memorable year's great monumental item.

Do lucky draw only items come with customized packaging? Because it says right there "Transformers Classic".

Guys, this is ABSOLUTELY NOT the same thing as the Animated Crystal Sons of Cybertron Set.

Edit: This may (or not, hopefully) be a rare exclusive prize item. If it is, GOOD LUCK getting one, unless someone throws one up on ebay for thousands. It's a shame, because I would buy this set in a freaking heartbeat. It's gorgeous.

But now that I've read a little more into this, I also see Alternity Magnus is one of the prizes, so maybe this thing could see a wide(r) release after all. Either way, there was too much confusion in this thread over the Animated set.

Of course it's not the same. It's obviously different molds. But you're making a big assumption that it's ONLY available as a prize here. We may not know differently, but it's not confirmed your way either.

And actually: Post from the firstpredacon/Protoform S says: (I assume they're the same guy based on the common posts)

This sounds like some supplier will have 3 pieces for the raffle. To me, sounding like there is some larger production run and they'll be available from some other avenue. How limited that is... who knows...

Yeah something super limited (like less than 100 pieces) wouldn't have special packaging like this.
