Don't know how many MSTK300 fans there are on the boards (if you don't know what the initials stand for, then you are not hehehe), but the guys from the show lived on after the death of the funny show. What they are doing now is they have a website where they legally create comments for popular movies. Obviously, you don't download the movie with their commentary, but you download the commentary and play it at the same time that the movie starts. They just added Transformers for 4 bucks. I think I'm going to download it tonight. http://shop.rifftrax.com/rifftrax/transformers
yea i got the rifftrack before christmas. those guys are so funny definately worth a download epecially for £2/$4. the only problem i found was syncing it to the dvd but once it was in sync it never deviated.
kool, nice to hear from someone who has tried it. I trust their material as a long time fan of MSTK, but it's good to hear someone has tried it and liked it.
I've used rifftrax for Episode 1 and Lord of the Rings Fellowship. They are HILARIOUS and a lot of fun. Pretty easy to synch, too - the rifftrax recording routinely provide duplicates of certain lines in the film so that you can see if your DVD is off by a second or two.
Was the lord of the rings the 10 hour special edition? Those guys must have had to watch the movie a dragon-fly's-life worth of time to get some lines up for it.
for a minute I thought MSTK3000 was still going! but only in spirit by the looks of things. Can you remember when the movie came out, now that was weird! a movie within a movie
God no, I don't remember, but I remember This Island Earth being the movie they made fun of. It was funny as hell
Yeah, I saw a banner ad on TFU.info the other day and checked it out. If i had money, I'd definitely have dled a few of the tracks. btw, it's "MST3K"
