    If the movie were in the can I would agree with you. It's not, because it's not finished; so I don't Should Bay have a CGI heavy movie pre-screened before it is finished?

    Isn't the movie opening in other countries several days before the US date? I think when he says "barely in theaters", it just means closer to the wire than the norm.

    yeah, that's a well known practice. Ghost Rider and Street Fighter are recent examples that come to mind.

    I imagine they're working some late nights over at ILM just the same. I can only imagine how long it's taking to render out some of those Devastator scenes.

    He better get that movie done.. and sent to the theatre the day before the opening. Cause I want to see another 8pm Advance showing. :D
