My first Masterpeice is getting some attention?
Looks kinda like Lost Light now.
Only it’s not Lost Light.
Road Rage! You better have that mouthplate!
Not gonna lie I had to double take and see if this was the reboot comic or another LL issue. Seeing Nautica, Starscream, and Sentinel in this artwork made me a bit nostalgic.
This is fantastic. Looking forward to seeing a bit of the bigger tapestry. Can’t wait.
“It is gone. We will make sure of that.”
I see where this is heading and it’s not looking too great.
Loving the art alot more now
I look forward to seeing more of Nautica and Road Rage. It will be interesting to get to know them better in this continuity.
Not based on this cover from issue 11.... (though it could just be retractable, and it’s not like cover art usually matches interior art, especially when it’s not the same person)
Still robots standing around talking though. Just with the best art from IDW2 so far.
You don’t have to say this in every single thread.
Having this occur before Issue 10 is an interesting choice, especially considering this is the last issue of the book's first arc.
Yeah, still utterly boring.
Also, it's so funny that we can tell right away what characters are based on actual toys. Starscream and Sentinel stand out like sore thumbs.
I spotted Lightbright there in a slight redesign. Interesting how a random Animated background character keeps appearing so much.
I too like to add this because we know for a fact Hasbro watches these boards. Maybe if they see the utter lack of interest in these comics (just compare thread lenghts of these comic discussions with the previous IDW stories) and how we find them boring, coupled with dismal sales, they might finally take steps to take TF comics back from IDW and put them in more capable hands.
That’s fine, so let me counterbalance that with a different message to Hasbro: this is one of the best pieces of Transformers media in years, and is growing and improving the value of the brand. It is precisely the sort of sophisticated storytelling that its core audience desires, and its continuation will help sustain and increase WFC toy sales, particularly in lockstep with the forthcoming Netflix show. Hasbro should be patient and stay the course irrespective of what a small handful of very vocal people on an Internet message board say.
Well, if they stopped standing around talking in every preview I wouldn’t have to.
Again, beg to differ. The old run had several hundred issues to develop, which it did in a highly erratic and sometimes contradictory way. We’re fewer than twelve issues in here. They’re just planting the seeds, which they’re doing in a very thoughtful and intriguing way.
As somebody remarked in another thread, we know a war is coming. It’s both a benefit and curse for the storytellers. But to me - and again, you’re entitled to a different opinion - the “how” and the “why” are the most interesting part of the entire thing. The biggest complaint seems to be the amount of “standing and talking” but to me that’s far more interesting than indiscriminate and unmotivated action.
If the series is a fifty page novel, we’re still in chapter one. I’m sure that you’ll have all the action and interpersonal conflict you want soon enough. In the interim, I would suggest putting a bit of faith into the storytellers. Or not - just stop reading and stay out of the threads and then check back in after two or three years and see if it’s worth picking up a trade. Because all of the robotic and repetitive complaining is a drag for those of us who are really enjoying the current run.
Fans just about a year or so ago: Ugh, I hate this stuff on earth! And the story is moving far to fast! They refuse to let a story settle! Take your time! MTMTE and the main comic are the worst things ever and the writers should be fired!
Fans now: Ugh, why can\'t we bo back to how things were! I hate this! MTMTE and the main comic were the best things we\'ve gotten in years!

Oh god, Nautica's gonna be an otherkin..
