Here is the latest preview for Transformers #11...
I like the interaction between Thundercracker and Bumblebee.
I love the cover with Prime and Rampage. Pure awesomeness! The preview is pretty decent, as well. Way better than last issue's preview.
I've not been a fan of IDW's output lately (LSotW aside), but y'know I like this preview. I like Thundercracker getting drawn into TV by his new interest in humans and I like him calling Bumblebee on his rather empty "friendship". Makes me want to pick up the issue.
-ZacWilliam, developing Thundercracker is just about the only good thing the post-Furman stories (again excluding Roche's stuff) have done.
That interaction between Thundercracker and Bumblebee is really good. I'm liking where this is going. Good stuff, I can hear the G1 voice actors in my head while I was reading it.
Lovin' Thundercraker. He just needs a hug
Both those covers are great, not sure which to get now. I love how TC is a couch potato now.
So from what I gather. even though it's called a on-going comic. the story & fight climax still wraps up in 6 issues. I'm kinda wondering if every 6 issues will end with a decepticon gestalt being defeated.
hopefully 2011,is the year of the Rodimus Prime. I holding out hopes that hotrod steals the matrix away from the decepticons. then uses the matrix to power up into rodimus prime.
I've noticed in the DW/IDW TF comics that whenever a masterpiece TF toy comes out in japan & america. the DW/IDW TF comics make that MP TF the star for the year.
^ When was Skywarp ever the star of anything?
Anyway, Thundercracker's character development (a phrase that I never thought would be typed by anyone, ever) is kinda making me dig this timeline.
Comic looks good, I'm looking forward to reading it. The art is slick and sharp, with a lot of personality, and the dialog is a winner for now!
HOORAYS - they didn't change the character models again!
LOL, yes, that is nice. However, not a fan of the current design. The models are fine, but the design seems too detailed. I preferred the simplistic cartoon look from a few comics ago.
Oh goody, Thundercracker is addicted to TV, sounds like a page turner to me.
I really like how IDW really seems to be quickly addressing how unhappy we were with ongoing when it started. looks like I may have to start picking the book back up. as for the art, I think we've found a good place.
Love the Prime cover but also liking the TC and Bee cover as well...I really need a comic book store nearby..thanks for the preview
Looks pretty good. I'm looking forward to this coming out as a TPB, since that's how I prefer to collect comics these days. I'm really liking the return to classic-style faces.
As pointed out on the Allspark, does anybody remember the days when this sort of conversation in a Transformers comic would take up only 1 page, not 5 pages?
Way to waste the relatively few pages IDW comics have, dudes.
only new mold MP TF toys count. repaints are just basically using the same mold.
just another reason why I stopped buying all the IDW TF comics titles about 4+months ago.
the only way to bring me back, would be having Rodimus Prime in the IDW TF comics next year as the leader.
Right now i'm not a fan of Bumblebee as the leader. just because he's so popular right now from the TF live action movies.
And another thing - so Thundercracker sits around all day watching dozens of televisions that are filled with nothing but static?
