    Would anyone out there recomed The IDW Collection of Transformers Volume 1 and the current ongoing series? I'm a liitle bit intrigued by the IDW univerese of transformers.

    I loved the "ation" series' by Simon Furman that started out the IDW Transformers universe. Some people thought the pacing was too slow, but I was fine with it. All Hail Megatron was a disappointment for me, it felt like a two part episode of the G1 cartoon series. The current ongoing is hit and miss. Some parts (Thundercracker) are good, and some parts (Spike) are bad.

    The Spotlights for the most part have been great. Kup and Shockwave being a couple of my favorites. The mini-series have also been good, Last Stand of the Wreckers, Maximum Dinobots and Stormbringer particularly.
