Have any of you guys ever wondered where
the interiors of the vehicles go to during transformation.
Is it all packed away in the body somewhere or something.
    Just wondering.

Obviously it is a part of the Autobot or Decepticon body.

It must fold itself to store away during transformation. As it is shown in the movies, both Autobots and Decepticons are capable of miniaturizing parts of their body to great extent, such as Ironhide's cannons, or the Nokia-bot weapons.

So, hiding these parts within their bodies isnt really a problem.

I wouldnt exactly call it miniaturizing their parts. We see Ironhide's cannons unfold themselves, kind of like a telescope extending. Nokia-bot was just using the extra parts in his body to form weapons.

I'd assume the interiors fold up nicely and get tucked away in the torso of the robot. It makes more sense than miniaturizing, which basically comes down to mass-shifting, something only the Allspark was able to do because...its the Allspark.

Thats what I meant, fold up, I just didnt choose the right word.

Of course, there's no mass shifting involved. The parts just fold up and then get stored in their proper space.

Im more interested in how their tires work. Cuz they look and behave like rubber but when you see Optimus transform his back wheels break apart in segments, its weird.

It's all sent away for storage in Cheat Ville. They've been taking care of stored transformation parts for more than twenty-five years.

Well, Scrapper's wheels broke up and went all over his body. They transform, too.

Its all part of their disguise.

When they scan a human vehicle mode, its not like their body BECOMES fiberglass and whatever else its made out of, its their metal body IMITATING that so it looks and feels like it so their disguise can be believable.

Well, they probably store themselves inside their body somewhere.

Or it's just a movie, and I'm not supposed to think about it that hard.

You guys ever seen an accordion? Jack in the Box? Same principle. Their bodies are engineered to a whole new level.
