Yup, that was it. Those from two tabs are so loose they kept moving before I could snap the legs/hips into place!

    Thanks!

On mine, the left leg I use all three pegs, on the right because it's so tight, I skip the fold out black tab and it's still able to hold in place.

So the waist sheared in half on mine. I have a message in to bbts. Though I think I can fix it if I could get his lower waist apart. It's all flat head pins holding it together. Any tips?

Yeah right at the front of the trigger section, it's easy to miss and even if you do fold it out it falls out of alignment very easily.

No worries mate, glad it worked.

Damn thats a bad break, It must be a bad copy, I've transformed mine a bunch of times and had no issues with that area, just out of interest did the hinge feel tight during transformation.

    A couple of things:
    1. I think it would be helpful if those of you who have placed a Decepticon label on yours could show a closeup image of the label in place along with the brand, size, and where you purchased it from.

    2. Has anybody figured out a way to loosen the legs' collapsing mechanism? I can get them to collapse well enough but Megs' left leg is a huge pain to extend. Every time I transform him to bot mode, I'm afraid I'm going to rip his leg clean off. Right leg is fine; just the left leg gives me trouble.

I have the same problem on both legs. Nearly impossible to extend back out. Best I can do is grip it and rip it and pray it doesn't break one of these days.

The legs are hard to extend on mine too. What I do is use a small precision screwdriver on the inside of the leg where you can see the tab that slides down, take the screw driver and gently pry up on the tab to get it started. Once it's started the leg will extend fairly easily.

Leg kibble mod, kudos to SMOG for posting this, it involves shaving down the relevent parts to achieve it though, I have'nt tried it myself yet, I may have a go tonight.

    Looks a lot better IMO.

And here's SMOGs original post about it: (Basically, it will clean bot mode look at the expense of a small gap in gun mode where the panel is shaved.)

If you don't want to shave down the blade piece, just rotate up the bottom piece above the ankle and that holds the flap in pretty well without rotating or shaving that top hinge piece.

The reason people are talking about shaving the top piece is to make it fold all the way down and parallel with the legs. That piece above the ankle is supposed to be folded up in bot mode anyways for the complete transformation.

I do think adding another hinge as mentioned by firehawc_69 in the main thread would be the best because it seems like it may have originally been designed to do it and it would not compromise gun mode.

He just cut away where the two pieces block each other from letting the flap fold all the way down. I suppose you could cut either side or a bit of both to achieve the same result. You'll be able to tell easily when you see it in hand.

Are you untabbing all the black gun handle peices prior to collapsing/uncollapsing the legs? For some reason collapsing the legs is much more difficult with those pieces tabbed in.
