I was gonna order this for the 2nd batch, but... maybe I'll wait on the 3rd batch. Better than chancing not only crapped-up hips, but also missing pieces. I. Will. Wait.

 

They had TE02 in between, announced in June 2019.
Due to Covid, it seems like they will need more time for the 4th one.

 

I wish they would at least announce their next G1 MP figure, even if it's not coming for awhile.

People always get on Fanstoys' case for showing their upcoming figures so early, but I can't understand why...it helps so much with planning to know what's coming up.

 

When's the next wave due? I wanna say I heard October.

Whelp, finally got around to doing the fix on mine (both legs were needed - first batch from ShowZ so I wasn’t surprised). Easy enough fix, really straight forward with video help. But dear god are the tips of my thumbs sore from pushing that back tab piece into place lol. You really do almost need a third hand. One to hold the leg, one to hold a spudger in place to spread the top of the thigh and another to push the tab piece back in. Luckily I’ve got a good sized beer gut so I could use that to prop against the spudger and hold it in place. Definitely not hard, but for sure awkward. Thanks to all who did the video fixes, those are huge helps!

 

Damn, this guy looks so good! Fits in well with the other MP's. Didn't bother with the hips as I'm using it for display only.

 

After fixing the hips I loved this thing until i tried transforming his legs. It literally made me curse in agony. I felt like i was being punished for something i did in a past life. One day when I'm feeling masochistic I'll transform him again but until then I'll happily enjoy the bot mode.

It's a very good figure if you aren't bad at transforming things like I am.

 

No offense to you, but I'm honestly boggled by this. I generally need instructions to get through any transformation the first few times back and forth. This guy was so intuitive that I did the whole thing without even knowing about the QR code. Took me a little while, but I was able to figure it out and once I saw what was what, i thought it was pretty logical and easy.

For your sake, stay away from Badcube Wardog or Zeta/Toyworld Jazz  

 

Part of my problem is i'm new to collecting and i'm afraid to transform things. I can't easily replace a bot if i break one, even a cheaper one like this one, so it adds tons of pressure that i'm going to break things. Plus i was watching a video on how to transform it and it seemed to not properly show some important steps and it got me (and the legs) twisted around so i was mid-way through and got lost. So it was a combo of things that contributed to my pain. Luckily another video helped me sort it out and i got it properly transformed into car mode and back with far less trouble.

 

Ah, gotcha. I know when I started into MP collecting a few years ago,, it took me an hour to transform something that takes less than five minutes now.

Anyone else order theirs from The Chosen Prime? I’ve had him on preorder there for while and usually they are pretty good about getting the release fairly soon after but he’s been out over a month and I haven’t heard anything.

 

I can't speak for other vendors but Show.Z is waiting on a batch with corrected hips. Maybe it's delayed at all vendors.

 

We are waiting on fixed versions from TE and will get them as soon as they are available.

Thanks for the correction! Emgo is a solid go to for me when I need help, so good to know I don't have to worry about it. I do seem to remember he might have missed the trick with the wheels tho.
