Dude, what happened was it got dumped in the wrong pile and shoveled on the wrong boat/plane and it wasnt worth digging it out of the mountains of parcels so it went the wrong way and reorganised at the next sorting office it arrived in where it was relabeled for their system, it wasnt a conscious choice, its a mistake and nothing to do with whoever you bought it from.

This. It happened to me a couple of times, one where the thing went way out of its way before getting to me. The package was in with a whole sorting of others, and that entire container/batch/whatever had to go where it needed to before it got broken down further and my package got rerouted. I've even had stuff (not as far, but to the point) that came to California, went to like Delaware or somewhere, THEN came to Vegas. Because that's where the primary batch went, and my poor package ended up being in it instead of whichever one it was supposed to be. They sorted it and sent it my way.

Received mine and,as first thing from unboxing I changed head, has been very easy.
Proportions in this pic may be strange but my favorite OP toy must have a scene together my favorite Constructicons and here all.of them seem to have flowed from the toon for design.Optimus shoulder joints are easy to move, hope that are also rather strong. Very happy for purchase, anyway soon I may post other pics. 20211128_123214.jpg

So you admit that it is a mistake from their side or the forwarder they hire to send out the stuff globally.

Dude, work in a company that has to deal with logistics from China on a daily basis.

Mistakes like this from their side will be enough reason for us to drop them as a forwarder/ courier service so don’t make it sound like it is something normal.

Maybe I am spoiled by tree to five days China shipping to Malaysia but that is the norm here due to the direct logistical route long established between them and us.

If by shoulder joint being very easy to move you mean the ratchet for the shoulder is basically not there that happens to my copy too. Basically the screw they used for the shoulder joint with the wide flange is a little to wide and actually gets stuck around the plastic when you rotate the shoulder basically making the screw turn with the shoulder. Only solution I found so far is to loosen the screw slightly until it doesn’t get stuck around the plastic while still giving you solid ratchet action. This will take a few trial and error to get right.

A permanent solution would be to shave down the flange so that it will have clearance from the walls of the shoulder joint but that will need some specialized tools.

What is wrong with you? Your parcel went the wrong way, believe it or not you are not the first this has happened to nor will you be the last, perhaps start sourcing things locally if it upsets you this much and your assertion that your "company" would drop a carrier over a simple mistake which adds a little time on an unimportant package is beyond laughable and shows that you have literally nothing to do with logistics.

I will agree you sound very spoiled though, I would suggest by more than just fast shipping in the past.

In our line of business where we are actually an essential supply chain and also the largest supplier of said raw materials, any shipping snafu that cause the stuff to arrive a few weeks later than schedule will be catastrophe. Industries will literally grind to a halt without the raw materials for their production.

Not sure why that is so hard for you to understand. Snafu like this just literally doesn’t happen here.

Maybe the American postal system sucks and you guys have learned to accept that but not over here. You will be surprised that other parts of the world actually have effective logistical service.

If I were you, I’d stick to buying figures domestically because countries with GDPs 25 times as large and populations that are 10-40 times that of Malaysia have to contend with shipping snafus because packages have to go through many hands and checkpoints in order to reach their destination. And as with any system, the increased number of people involved often translates to more errors.

Someone call my name? But in seriousness, you're talking about commercial shipping vs residential. Residential isn't anywhere near as much of a priority.

I will still buy from China but probably not ShowZ again cause this has not happened with other Chinese sellers I have dealt with before.

Highly recommend their mods for TE-01 and DS-01 (shout out to @Bugste81 for the cartoon null rays for DS-01) . Hit them up as they have mods for other figures too! Thanks again!

My only real niggle with TE-01 is that gray piece at the waist... I painted mine as buying a TE-01S just to swap it wasn't a great solution. Maybe V6 will change it. Still a FANTASTIC figure, especially for the price

Finally received my copy of TE-01.

No regrets buying this figure. It was a toss up between this and KO MP44. I knew the latter had more articulation/ posability but I was happy to sacrifice that for a figure that would be reliable out of the box and does both modes very well. I knew about the lack of hip swivel on TE-01 but not enough to put me off.

I bought the figure from Omegalock (UK arm) linked to TFSExpress. Normally they are good on packaging up orders but this was delivered like this:

    1403D2D7-82BD-4BD7-A755-427E522F84F1.jpeg

Shipped in an outer TE box and feck all protection. No bubble wrap. No corner protectors. Clearly they were in a hurry to get the delayed order out to people. Always nervous when orders are shipped like that. The contents tends to get compromised.

Straight out of the box. Nice to see the contents hadn’t been damaged due to lack of protection. The figure was tight and no looseness. Looked the figure over and changed the head straight away.

I was initially disappointed with TE due to the amount of plastic sprue flashing. Didn’t expect this. Most obvious when changing the heads over. Clear to see on the left antenna. Looked to see if I could reverse but not easy to close the head up. Might consider shaving a piece so I can switch it around and not be seen front on:

Can see the flashing looking down in three noticeable areas. Fortunately when the figure is displayed you won’t see that

    Flashing on the feet
    AE1183B8-0CD7-48BE-A1A8-90CCDE44A421.jpeg

There was a scratch on the left foot just below the circled area and I used a pencil eraser on this which helped clear that. I used the same eraser on the red paint work around the windshield to remove yellow paint overspill which I would guess cane from the yellow lights. The green marking is where the yellow overspill was. You can just see some fine residue left which I will have another go at. Got the bulk of it off:

I could get picky over the finish on the chromed parts and I think it has been mentioned already about the section on the back of the legs not quite colour matching under certain light as per the photo below:

    620C2975-A48A-46AD-BECC-950835A99604.jpeg

But in the main for the price paid, I’m really happy with the figure.

I may get the KO MP44 in the near future but this Prime more than does the job of filling the character on my display shelves.

Hopefully make some time this week to transform him.
