He is a little tricky but it’s so rewarding, tricky in the challenging puzzle way, not the FT way. Each step blew my mind because I kept thinking of ways it could be better only to realize I spoke to soon because they thought of it. If you’re going in blind be careful. There are parts held in by locks. So like you gotta move a spring loaded slide to release the transformation joint. I’m blanking on where it is so if something doesn’t untab right away look around before forcing it.

you pretty much nailed why I asked. Out of the box he’s incredibly well-held together, and there are no obvious spots that want to give or open up. I think I’ll put that on my list of shit to do today.

I finished the windows prints. Some samples!. Printed in photografic glossy paper with a regular printer (Epson). If you want the archive just ask me, you have to printed in 6cm x 2,2cm. In normal paper the colors aren't so vivid like glossy paper, but it works too.

thanks for this, finally got around to transforming him last night. That tutori was clutch! And what a satisfying transformation, TE is now my new favorite maker. I did stop at the last step where you put his head in, it didn’t want to fit nicely and I’ve heard so much about bent antennae...

 

There's a simple trick to get the antenna in without bending them. I forgot how, being I've only transformed mine once.

 

my apologies for popping in out of nowhere...but i think you can point the antenna forward before flipping the head in and slowly feed it through the head-storage space.
some adjusting is needed while flipping it in...    

 

Anyone have the 4th version of this guy?
If you do, pls show / share some pics?

 

I’d totally get a real V4 (or 5? Lol), I’d they gave him some of the articulation that MP44 has (legs and abcrunch?).

Did they add anything new on the “4th batch” or is it literally just the 4th re-release of this guy sans upgrades?

 

I think it’s still in pre-order so I don’t think anyone knows about V4 yet
