Super quick and dirty, but the easier solution is to increase the mass of the canvas right arm and leg, in particular the length of that thigh :

    upload_2019-12-18_0-1-54.png

The other more complicated option would be to redraw the torso with a more skewed/extreme perspective, so that the pelvis/torso would be in proportion to the current canvas right thighs etc.

Basically the way it's drawn currently, your torso is only slightly turned thus the appendages would be nearly the same size. They wouldn't read so far and distant as implied by their current smaller size. Use the thighs as a visual guide since they would have near the same visible mass. You can play up the forced perspective by really bringing the canvas left hand forward towards the viewer, which I think is actually reading quite well currently.

Exactly. In fact, from what I can see, there's no perspective in the torso at all. Your lines at the top and bottom of the chest window panels are parallel, or at least close enough that they look parallel (in fact, given that the human brain expects to see perspective, when it's not there, it makes it almost appear that the lines are getting further apart). They should be converging toward a vanishing point. Granted, the vanishing point can be really far out to the side (and usually is if you're doing realistic perspective). At any rate, as @o1dpain1ess says, the perspective on the torso is nowhere near enough to justify the foreshortening on the arms and leg. I gotta hand it to you, though: those are some super nice, clean, and even lines you've got there. If it weren't for the wildly different perspectives, I would've almost suspected this was from a 3d render.

@Iron_star the challenge has been made..
The gauntlet has dropped. If Magic Square can do this Megatron in Legends scale, well by golly, I think you can do the same with a more toon accurate clean look like TE01, and make a better MP36, that looks more aesthetically similar to TE01.

I'll buy Mirage to be sure. But I think that if they were to tackle Ole' bucket head, it would break the message board, especially if they manage to pull off something amazing. I think my ultimate want, is a more TE01 looking Megatron, if that makes sense.

I mean that would be just amazing wouldn't it? Something that matches TE01 in look and feel and quality. I'd be okay without the silencer set, because they could make it compatible with my MP36, like they did the trailer hitch for TE01 and MP10. In addition a special gift should be included, an MP44 trailer adapter for TE01, if they do a Megatron, or heck I want to also see @Iron_Star's take on Starscream, Skywarp, and Thundercracker, and I sure hope they get those faces right, and their hands aren't as tiny as the Meteor figure has.
I just want to see TE do some Decepticons soon. I need a comparable Megatron to stand next to Prime!

Proportionally, this one does look better. In fact, you could even grow that right forearm now to exaggerate it further.

    BTW,
Outside of the proportions being off, the rendering itself was quite nice and a great start!
Keep up the great work Blaze!

yeah that magic square megatron looks awesome proportionally. i don't know why they don't upsize and detail up more figures like they did with their op ms-01. If they did it with that megs, it would sell. People were at first amazed my mp-36 because well...look at mp-5 and mp-36 had great articulation. 2 years on though...people are starting to pick at its weak points a lot more and thesee legends mp style figures show just how bad mp-36 actually is. TBH i always liked apollyon's upper body way more and dx9 mightron overall better (other than the shins and feet...that said mp-36's feet annoy me too) for me as well too.
That being said, MP-36's upper torso is stupid short. i always thought its because they used the cartoon model and misinterpretted the perspective...its drawn looking up at megs so his legs would appear longer and upper body would appear shorter. its like they took measuremnts off if and translated to 3D without takign into account perspective. your joining of that photo of mp-36 and that artwork prove that the torso is even short compared to artwork drawn as if looking up at megatron. Anyway, if TE decided to take on megatron it would be i think...Iron Star's SECOND attempt at it. Rumor has it that Mightron was his design mostly. I read that here on tfw but didn't see any confirmation. i'm sure he'd do even better 3-4 years later on.

You actually nailed the original foot (to that leg), so try and recreate it.
We ALL have our El Guapos…
I ALWAYS draw one gorgeous, offing perfect eye… and have the damnedest time matching it on the other side. :banghead:

SO no worries, just keeping hammering. You'll eventually get something you're happy with.
It always helps me (when I get stuck on something) to look for references.
    Good luck man!

On a scale of 1-10, how tough is the transformation? I left the instructions in Asia, I’ve never attempted it...

(Apologies for spamming but I really wanna share what I’ve done!)

    FEATURES)
I modified certain things to be able to work with MP44’s stuff (aka not stock). This doesn’t effect the stock features of TE, MP10, or MP44! I didn’t mod any of the MP44 parts btw!

    1) Gun storage in truck form
    2) Hitch compatible with MP44’s trailer (needs to turn around for clearance)
    3) Gun can attach to MP44 Roller
    4) MP44’s effect parts can plug into gun (even whilst lit)
    5) Gun can plug into jetpack
    6) Gun stores in trailer w/ no clearance issues
    7) Gun can be used with MP10 Roller

    6. The steps are intuitive, but the panels on thighs are super tight to move at first trial.

I stopped trying to follow the (in my opinion) terrible instructions for MP figures about 20 or so figures back. Now I only ever watch EmGo's transformation tutorials when I want to transform a figure. That said, to this day, I still have yet to transform my TE-01. Just never felt the need to since I display all my Transformers in bot mode.

    Yes

Is there a way to mod TE for more articulation?

Big fixes will be difficult ...
Maybe elbows and shoulders are possible, but gaps will be created

But no problem. Your TE works very well;)
