Hmmm.. I think the black version is based on the V3, as opposed to the V2 I own, which has slightly less ratchet teeth, and an indent on the shoulder. V3 doesn't have the indent on the shoulder.

I'm new here but I'm been following this for a long time. I just bought te 01 ver 3 and it's an awesome Optimus prime. Clean robot mode and clean truck mode. Some people think that this figure can't do a good pose like mp44 but te01 can do good awesome pose too. Best part can use mp10's trailer and not worry bou t paint chipping or problem with the knees like mp 44.

Just wanna show to everyone that you can do a back butterfly joint shoulders but you have to Un-tab the backpack a bit. But don't force the shoulder back to much. Don't wanna break any truck parts inside the body.

 

I saw that the 4th batch is in pre-order, unknown improvements right now, but I bet you that they will change the grey waist pieces to white.

 

I've been messing with him right now. Can't figure out how you pulled that pose off... I've got the V1 though.

 

The more I see videos of the new MP-44, the more I want a premium painted version of TE-01

Just checked ShowZStore and they are tacking pre orders for the 4th release. Guess all the jokes of waiting for the next version are coming true. I love my v3 TE-01 and TE-01E.

Yeah, to me, the only thing that TE lacks compared to MP44 is the sweet paint job. I don’t know if they could do it and still transform but I’d like to see it
