Thank you guys! I'll get the pics out tomorrow.

Also my apologies, your email got kicked into my spam folder, but I found it now.

Yeah I wasn't expecting that fast. Very pleased with the customers service.

Just saw on FB that someone modified the trailer hitch part to be compatible with MP-44 trailer while retaining MP-10 Compatibility.

Does anyone think that TE will come with a cell shaded version? I think it would really fit the mold.

TE-01 has now become my favorite 3D party figure. I was thinking of buying MP44, but now I'm not sure I need it.

Takes a bit of force to get the tabs in place the first time. Just make sure they are lined up and put pressure right on the tab (not the middle of the bumper)

I think the question is how a paint job like that would hold up to transformation on this mold? TE is probably better off not doing it if it would go to crap handling it. It's also a lot more expensive to make than a standard repaint, so if their option is cell shade or another color, it's a lot cheaper for them to just do the easy repaint. That said, it would be cool...but it's not the easiest thing they could do.

I'd prefer the metallic version if they did anything, to that of what I consider "Cartoon Camo."

I think that it would strain the tolerances yes. Since almost no paint is applied right now.

Well to each his own ofc. But I saw the MPP10 cell shaded version recently. Wich was done sparsely and had just the right amount of shading, and I figured: how good would that look on a figure which already has the pure toon mold?

Oh no doubt. I think it'd look good. But for practicality reasons, molding the bot in shinny plastics, and metallic stock would hold up better then paint, which is why I think a metallic Red, blue, and shinny silver plastic would look great, and have what's silver now cast in chrome would make the bot even better. As of right now. On my shelf is the toon styled V2. If they release a metallics version, I will definitely get it. But then I may also need to get the Igear KO Megatron in metallics to go with it. IDK, but it is one of the few colors they have released this far.

    TE01 colors not released:
    1. White and blue Ultra Magnus
    2. chromium Gold Golden Lagoon variant
    3. Metallic style
    4. G1 Toy colored version, can double with Metallic just add decals.
    5. G1 Marvel inspired comics variant.
    6. Diaclone variant
    7. Chromium silver hate plague armor.

    Non-standard repaint includes:
    Evangelion purples and greens.
    Ghost buster variant
    And so on...

Great change, it is a magnificent, I recommend it, the figure earns a lot in its appearance, the material is hard and resistant, it is a good complement.

Thanks! for the side by side pictures demonstrating the difference in down articulation w/ the extended vs. original neck :)

    Looking good :)

Ahh I see where you're getting at, and your list looks pretty complete. Mine still has a cell shaded one on top of the list:

    1. Cell Shaded
    2. Marvel Comics (which has to have a special head)
    3. I like the idea of a Hate Plague Optimus, but can't see myself buying a completely silver/white or for that matter golden Optimus

My wish list doesn't go any further than that. I'd rather have them do some accesoires like a basketball, or a good Spike, and then perhaps do another character.

You know, watching the movie again, it is striking to me how much TE01 nailed the small things..
like that elbow, and how not as angled as MP44 hipskirt, it does tend to feel more like the cartoon presented it.
Touches like that are what for me, makes me appreciate it all the more.
