Shell-forner like Toro?

 

How do you figure it's a shellformer?

 

They're all panelformy as hell... With TT having the most panels of all three but none of them being made of solid blocks.

 

Yeah that makes no sense to me. A shell former is when the outside of the alt mide just opens up like a pretender shell. There's nothing like that here

 

Toro wasn't a shellformer, but was he a shelfwarmer??

 

Also stuff like that movie Galvatron truck.

 

He looks SO much cleaner than Takara's V3, it's hilarious.

 

This part looks kinda like a solid piece which made me think that. Honestly it feels like this might transform similar to MP44, so my shellformer may be mistaken.

 

Those are same windows it uses for the bot mode.

The grill is faux, though. Changes between the modes.

 

Especially the truck’s back

 

toro is not a shellformer these are shellformers... 2nd person i have had to point this out to about shellformers in the last week seems some don't understand what a shellformer is

I didn't know it was a real term.   I'm new to the terminology and was trying to come up with a term that fit.

I agree. I think they listened.

The red parts at least look like they are not painted at all. Hope it's just the picture or the video quality, but it makes the figure feel a little cheap. The blue parts look better, even though they look colored plastic too.
On the other hand, the white the interior painted details look very nice. The sculpt is beautiful in both modes.
Hope this gets good reviews. If that's the case I'll go for it too.

 

Anyone else bothered by the weird triangles on the front skirt? Either than that he looks damn fine.

 

I'd like the front wheel wels to be made in red plastic and only paint blue the parts that form the cameltoe in bot mode...If the whole pieces are blue they stick out too much in truck mode

 

other than the front windows being a little a big (aren't they about the same height as the windows on the doors of a real truck?), this is looking very clean and muuuuch better.

 

They should really listen and remold the head or include a second one. Just copy the TT one and this would be a win.
