Huh. These don’t look half bad.
wow, digging her..i have to say i kind of think the beast mode is better than the masterpiece at first glance..might just be the angle idk but it sure seems like it cleans up a little nicer.
Hopefully. I don't know why the poor legends Beast Wars figures keep getting stuck with outdated design elements like diecast.
Anyways, maybe pre-orders will be up soon.
It's a lost art.
Knew that was coming...
I also think the beast mode looks better than the Masterpiece Blackarachnia at first glance. Although I admit I haven't watched Beast Wars so I don't know which is more accurate. Looks good regardless though.
Waist rocker, but no crunch or swivvle. I guess Magic Square spoiled me.
Looking at where the pieces are - pelvis and legs - I think they are to add stability. Being only 8.5 cm tall and skinny, she's going to be a light figure with stability issues (like DX9 Arcee). The weight of the die cast lowers the figure's center of gravity, which should make it stand better than it would without those pieces.
Well, this makes me VERY happy!!! I should at least be able to afford this one.
To my great sadness, Takara MP BA is 130 USD shipped, vs the 90 - 100$ for Optimal, and i have to skip the original release and wait a year or two for the re-release and hopefully i have more money to just accept the high price on it. That or maybe i have more money by November...
Legend scale height 8.5cm ... Is it the size according to the Legend Commander Collection primal?
AmiAmi has her for $110 USD.

Oh sweet Jesus! They can’t be doing this to my wallet! No mercy! Legends Beast Wars, And they look great.... ouch!
Any figure can look sleek and great when your transformation involves yanking panels off and not doing anything with them. Terrible design for a TF.
That sounds ok If they add stability and prevent tiny pieces from snapping. I just am not fond of random decorative metal pieces.
Yeah that's my biggest gripe. I like to think the smaller bots are play friendly, and that just made this figure play un-friendly
I like diecast in my figures. I love heavy figures. One of the reasons I stopped collecting Eaglemoss stuff is because they switched from lead to that light resin they use.
now will it be more affordable than the Masterpiece?
I mean it’ll be cheaper for sure.
You can’t really compare the two. The alt mode here doesn’t look as good with the front and elongated back making me think it was more like an ant. And the robot mode looks more stiff and isn’t as rich with the character design. I don’t see the point to compare them since they’re working in two different fields.
I was waiting for TE to do all the leaders.
And they go BW route, bummer!
I want to see a better Megatron from them. Then we can all sell our mp-36.
A good Rodimus Prime, which is so needed. MP-9 is old mold.
Hard to beat, but a better Galvatron then FT version?
Better Ultra magnus then mp-22. That guy is so fat. Or Magic square should upscale their legends Ultra Magnus.
I think they should do a Rodimus and Magnus. These 2 really needs an update.
