What!? Saying HasTak makes quality figures? That’s illegal!

What about TE doing a proper Bumblebee, they can make it better.

Most companies can make a better Bumblebee, HasTak really cracked this mold.

Only nine? Better pull their finger out if they want to hit Toyworld Constructor numbers!

Personally I'd put FT in first place, replace HasTak with "Takara KO's" (their designs are averaging about 50/50 good/terrible, but they've priced themselves out of the running) and move them to 2nd place. I'd add XTB in there next.
And Transform Element have certainly impressed me, based off an MP Prime and a 3D printed proto of a Mirage but it's probably a little too early to put them in the top three for me. Plenty of companies have started strong and faded into insignificance (BadCube, MMC... even Maketoys is only barely hanging on in my estimation thanks to their Seeker mould)

I'd also like to see NewAge take a crack at an MP design. They are doing stunning things with their Legends which are practically mini-MPs already. I'd love to see what they could do in a larger scale. The brilliance may not transfer to the bigger size but if it did... wow.

I think that TE tho, would do it justice. Given the quality from them I have seen so far. They are really really good. I LOVE TE01, and from what I can tell, their other figures look great too. I wonder if the QC on the other bots is a solid as TE01? I would pick up a TE BB if they released a really good one.

A TE design team led by Ray Charles, Stevie Wonder, and Helen Keller could make it better. And with less paint issues too.

And his backpack. Can't forget the backpack. In fact pretty much all of him except for like his chest and maybe parts of his arms or something.

I hate his stupid cartoony alt mode too.

Don't know if I'll be replacing Sphinx, but this is a nice take on Mirage. His gun looks superb.

Eh, MP-44 is still my Optimus, but I hope they can get to Bumblebee.

I own MMC Mirage, but I may need to get this. I like how the engine is not on the front of his legs, and his foot is not the spoiler.

I didn't think I'd like it either. I really don't know WHY I ordered it in the end. I'm probably going to catch hell for saying this but:

"It's really a lot nicer in hand!" :p  (it's not worth the asking price though)

[i belive] He’s referring to TE01 Optimus, which by most other standards is perfect to hear owners tell it, and I agree. Except he doesn’t have a neck. Someone in the the thread sells a neck upgrade for $4, as it was a lone strange design choice on an otherwise well-thought out and streamlined figure. The tiny change below raises the head off the cab but still allows for transformation, and corrects a limited range of motion for the head.

Oh. Of course, That makes more sense, I own TE and remember reading about the neck upgrade but was never bothered enough by it to worry.
    Thanks for explainng.

Where did you find the box? I might copy you shamelessly ;)

Wow how did I miss this new upcoming Mirage from my almost favourite 3P company. I'm all in. But I agree. I would love a cartoon accurate more blocky, stable and gorgeous Tracks!
