I haven't been a fan of anything Beast Wars since 2016. That is a long story and involves two people who have ruined the franchise for me. But after seeing this 3P Scorponok? Color me interested regardless if it is 3P, official, or even if it some type of ruse created by a group of aliens who need a way to capture humans for their evil plans!

That guy with the scary eyes and the forehead would make a great Vegeta cosplay.

He seems a tad too big; I wonder if you could fudge him into a classics BW display with Rattrap, Rhinox etc.

Too big for the legends BW scale. It doesn't really bother me, even if I was collecting that line, I was just thinking it might fit with the Generations BW figures

I guess maybe he's a smidge too tall, but if you're going to be that picky then you really have no reason to care about whether or not he will "fit in" with the CHUG or original Beast Wars figs, since scale is all over the place with those (like, if I put CHUG Rattrap and Blackarachnia in this picture, Scorp would be completely dwarfed by them...hell, CHUG Blackarachnia might even dwarf the original Scorponok figure).

We need more love for sine if the lesser known BW characters
neither Scorponok or Terrorsaur made it out of season 1. Scorponok had one of the best BW figures and Terrorsaur was a super under rated character, he was the starscream of the show but he was less funny than waspinator so he died.

I always felt Scorponok and Terrasaur were killed off because of duplication of roles. Scorponok and Inferno were both absolutey loyal, and Terrasaur's treachery was also covered by both spiders, though they weren't really as direct about it as Terrasaur.

Damn I guess I'm going to have to start collecting legends scaled Beast Wars figures now because Scorponok, Blackarachnia and Toyworld Transmetal Megatron all look amazing. What Rattrap figure is that though? Does anyone know?

It is also Transform Element. It was revealed at the same time as their Black Arachnia and they share a thread. It likely would be out if not for Corona delays. It should be their next release I believe.

Terrorsaur, just like Starscream, was a super OVERrated character. Writing him out of the show in favor of new characters whose personalities weren't intended to provide collectors a safe G1 crutch was one of the best things the writers did.

Scorponok still had value as brawn imo, but it didn't seem like the writers had any inspiration for him and part of the reason he was written out of the show was probably the upcoming fuzor Quickstrike.

I think Scorponok and Terrorsaur had unique enough roles on their team, despite being upstaged by Inferno and the spiders: Scorponok was loyal while also being sane, while Terrorsaur was a petty thug with ambition and treacherousness that far exceeded his competence (unlike the spiders, whose competence matched their ambition and treacherousness).

The practical limitations of Beast Wars required a smaller cast of characters, so it makes sense to put Scorponok and Terrorsaur on the chopping block given that fact, but if it weren't for that fact then I think they still could have had a place in the story.
