I mean scorponok is the shortest of the Predacons in S1. From foot to top of head. This is what TE is using. HAS/TAK is creating a new height chart for kingdom. Because the BW figures were about 1/3 g1 transformers height. As seen in s3 when they find the g1 character ships. So kingdom is a new look of BW characters (mainly beast modes) and new height scale.

 

The TE version will be much smaller than a deluxe. It's made for Legends collections.

 

You're right, but I saw pictures of the figure in robot mode next to Megatron in Beast Mode, and the scale just looks so off.

You can see Scorponok next to Megatron in Beast Mode at the 48 second mark.

 

I think the best Megatron to pair with TE Scorponok will be the Reborn and Telemocha DX versions (depending on which facial expression you prefer):





These versions are still only beaten by the MP in terms of accuracy (though with the latter you have to pull off those battle mask pieces). Kingdom Megs is cool but his back kibble, tiny hip guns, and gargoyle feet look really off from the show model.

Plus the original mold is a bit smaller, and thus scales a bit better.

I feel like if i bring TE's head on the highest position, the overall height difference with with kingdom version won't be too significant.

 

Yeah it's funny how Kingdom Rattrap and Scorponok both ended up being almost the same size as the Transform Element versions. Only one that ended up significantly bigger is Blackarachnia...but now she's too big.

 

Yeah and being at the same heights, the TE version wins by a landslide.

 

That chart is outdated, the correct one is this:

 

So TE and kingdom scorponok are both too tall for TE line and too short for kingdom line.
According to that chart scorponok should be half a head taller then Blackarachnia. And according to that chart Blackarachnia and rattrap are the same height, which he is smaller in both lines.
TE LINE: way too tall


Kingdom line: too short


But again kingdom has it own height chart and not following the old 90's BW chart. Because the orginial BW are only 1/3 of the g-1 characters height.

So kingdom is changing alot with height scale and designs.

 

Yeah, I need an Optimus Primal that can fit into and drive an Optimus Prime set.

 

Honestly, the Beast Wars cast might as well be considered mini-cons at their size.

 

Minicons are small even compared to humans. Maximals and Predacons are still as big or bigger than humans, so not quite.

 

Yeah from that clip you are right but then based off the current scale chart above, I think it's safe to say it can fit with the Beast Wars MP line.

Now though, I'm mix matching my BW collection so it fits my preferences. (MP, Kingdom, 3P)

 

Got mine in today. Simple yet effective. He's very stable because of the die cast legs. The pegs on the scorpion head that peg into the robot feet are really tight. I had to use a smudger to pry them out. I could easily see those pegs breaking by accident for some people. They're kinda angled so you actually have to bring the feet further forward than you think and then push them in.

 

Nice! If i may ask, do you have any deluxe from wfc kingdom line? I would like to see a proper height comparison with the head on upper configuration.

 

Got mine yesterday. All was as it should be. Paint is great. LOVE IT!

Now he's back in the box until next week.
