Almost certainly scoring this to throw on the PotP set, wish I’d jumped on the original but hopefully this doesn’t clash too bad. Very much looking forward to finally getting Volcanicus the upgrade it deserves!

FYI ShowZ has it for $62.99 which isn’t great but it does NEED the help....
may as well have gotten an MP Grimlock/Grinder for what I’ll have put into this

 

BBTS does have the original up for PO as well as the TT version TCW-06 Upgrade Set

 

Is the QC better on these kits?

I was hoping to use some credit at ShowZ so I asked if they’re gonna put preorder up for that as well, we’ll see. The $65 at BBTS hurts a lot more than the $10 difference at ShowZ lol

I apologize if its been discussed and im sure it has, theres just alot of thread to go through. I juat got my set out of storage. Any tips to keep the missles on swoops wings?

 

Realistically, how silly would the new shiny set look on a regular PotP Volcanicus? Is it like, so different it would look dumb? I have easier access to the new upgrade kit but just wanted it for my PotP one.

 

Can't say for sure, but I was going to just go for it, I figured it can't look worse than he does already, amiright  ? Then I saw they also released the original set again. In the end I ended up canceling the shiny set with intent to reorder the original, but I've decided to go another direction with my potp dino collection.

 

This is true.   I love my dino combiner boys but they're... not the best lol. Hence why I wanted the upgrade kit, to make them look a bit cooler!

 

Had the metallic set for weeks but kinda lost the interest to slap them on the GS Volcanicus.

 

Not too crazy about that new yellow color on the swords. The original reddish looked a lot better.

 

Didn't use the old swords from the non metallic set either. Clear blades are the preference!  

 

I eneded up buying Black Mambas OS Volcanicus and since there was no upgrade kit available for it I designed my own. I wanted a Volcanicus that would scale ok with PotP Predaking.

I have original bmb and central limbs to be able to fit this TDW kit, it doesn't lose almost nothing in height now well .. I like the idea of the wings on the back, could you explain to me what you did with the wings? I'm thinking of removing the wings from the bmb and putting the potp wings and the bmb wings attaching them in some way to the back ... would you give me your opinion? I see that the wings of the arm are smaller than those of the back ...
