I'll buy the sets from these guys regardless. The problem with OS KO stuff is you never know whats coming out, so you could wait and wait and never get anything. I'm excited for the OS KO POTP Prime, and hopefully they will do a Nemesis but I'll get the real one anyways.

 

I may just to have get both sets now, and probably another set of the Dinobots too! Shame that noone is trying to incorporate Slash in the combined mode.

PE for me. The Grimlock leg upgrades beat anything else out there.

Besides, this one has too much extra crap going on, excess parts everywhere.

 

If you don't want the combiner parts, I would be interested in them, as I don't really care about the weapons. Maybe we could split a set.

 

This or save my pennies for the Zeta Toys combiner? DECISIONS.

 

Depending on price I may grab this for hands/feet, thigh fillers, and dinobot weapons, but still getting PE for the Grimlock parts, and better combined chest piece, and codpiece. Though wonder if I could Frankenstein both kits onto one Volcanicus (hands and feet excluded)

 

TDW does look great but I worry about the quality and fitting of parts. The reviews for their Bruticus and Defensor upgrades were less than stellar with badly fitting parts and stuff breaking (even causing damage to the stock HasTak figures), from what I read. Hopefully they upped their QC.

 

Forgive if this is easily accessed information but....do we have a estimated release date for this set?

True, but I just can't bring myself to like the POTP Dinobots despite really wanting to, so I ultimately don't mind not getting them if they're not great, but if Wei Jiang or someone improved them, I'd actually be interested again.

The Zeta Dinobot combiner? It's just a slightly different-coloured re-release of the ToyWorld version, which was kind of average from everything I've seen and heard. This would at least be cheaper overall, just maybe not better (but that's debatable). All of Zeta's Zeta-EX stuff has had QC issues so far though so I'm a bit wary of that lineup now... Their regular stuff (Aerialbots and Combaticons, so far) have been pretty good though.

 

Now this is what I wanted! Swords and Guns for the Dinos!

 

Eh. It looks cool, but the stripping of all original gimmicks totally kills it for me. Good on people that like that kind of thing though.

 

I want this and the combined swords from perfect effect.

Swoops rockets are sorely missed, this makes volcanicus look as good as toyworld/zeta ex's dinoking. Ha! Not exactly the highest praise but a complement none the less.

This set looks great... depending on price (BWAHAHAHA) I may have to partake.
