Got my set in. While the design is impressive, the materials and QC are crap. Stress marks everywhere, including pins that weren’t pushed in properly and are in danger of breaking with transformation.

I was planning on getting their Volcanicus set, but if this is what their QC is like then I’m avoiding it, which is a shame.

 

Sorry to hear that bro...I, myself, have the UW version but swapped pieces between the UW Scattershot and the CW Scattershot to make the PE kit fit mine. That's the main reason I didn't buy this set, but went with the Superion version of it.

 

looks good. I may watch ebay. I've actually seen a few solo UW version of Scattershots there so I cop one if I see one for decent price.

 

Ok. After further review. This is the CRAPIEST UPGRADE TO DATE FOR ANY TRANSFORMERS.
1. Feet are cheaply made. No Racheting so forget about posing him. Lose crap, factory feet are better.
2. Hands - the fingers are to long and don’t really hold any gun or weapon without falling off.
3. Oh the great and powerful Chest Piece, uh the main part that really makes this figure complete. Can we say doesn’t fit. Design looks like the missed measurements. If snaps were lower and two others cut off it might work.
4. For cost and faults this set has. DID ANYONE CARE TO TEST THIS BEFORE IT WAS RELEASED TO THE PUBLIC. WE AS COLLECTORS PAY MONEY FOR ADD-on’s and expect them to fit. I purchased at BBTS and going to request a refund and I know I’ll lose money shipping them back.

Shame of the the baddest Combiners out there and no one can get a get upgrade set for him.
What a dam shame.
If you’re thinking about buying this set. You have been warned by everyone of issues. Save your money and wait till a better Computron comes around.
Any 3rd party company selling this kit should list the faults on this upgrade set and they are selling an upgrade kit that doesn’t fit the Bot.
Was it worth the cost.

just got the set:

TCW Feet > PE Feet
PE hands > TCW hands

 

If anyone who bought this doesn't want their stock hands and feet I would totes buy them.

 

Got mine today. Must have lucked out because mine is good.

 

I vastly prefer this one to the PE chest, though I am keeping the KO PE hands and feet on Computron.



The TDW hands and feet are currently on my Elita combiner; I do love how expressive the new hands are.



PS... the colors on the actual PE Computron feet still suck  

 

Did anyone ever try this with hasbro version? If so, are there any pics? Thanks in advance!!! 

 

Unfortunately, the add-on chest part from this particular set doesn't fit on the Hasbro torso, due to the takara version having different retooled molding.

Maybe it could work, after some modding operation, but I've never seen it done so far.

I'm thinking of picking this set up and seeing how hard it would be to mod it to fit the Hasbro set. It's $40 on ebay currently.
