Not really, I mean it is a great Prime design.

I don't own really any 3P MP's or 3P in general but I do kinda want this (would love a GF red and black version) and maybe FH Armada Galvatron cause of how good they look. IDK if I will but it's an idea.

Well tbf this isn't even FansHobby and there aren't other Cybertron figures to display him with. For the moment he's a standalone

Obviously it's hard to tell with the show, but I feel like this scales well based on memory. This Metroplex isn't a battle station anyway, so he's not at big as the G1 version.

It's nice to have an English review but I am very careful with his reviews. He rarely says anything negative about any figures. I know you have to work for your sponsors but I think it lacks a bit of honesty. Cool review though

Finally some kind of product on hand.

Hopefully they pick up on all the production issues. I thought this was basically dead--i only have 2-3 more figures that I'd like to get for sure and stop picking up new stuff (barring something incredible) and this was on the list.

Figure looks incredible. I'm not going to pre-order until I see a final figure review but otherwise it's a lock for me.

EDIT: NVM lol i put in a pre-order on ShowZ, I've fallen for the trap of waiting until after the CNY for 3 years in a row, I'm doing it now so it's on the books and I'll forget about it until I get an alert. Fortunately I have colleagues in China so I'll be able to at least get some kind of news out of there if anything general happens

I’m surprised we haven’t seen any of the reviewers that have shown him off so far display him next to Galaxy Meteor, considering that’s the only other Cybertron/GF 3P MP. I’m trying to figure out how they scale together.

There are photos of Galaxy Meteor next to the original Cybertron prime, and comparisons of TR-02 next to the OG Prime as well.

also, if anybody is selling a galaxy meteor, I’m interested in buying.

Doesn't Galaxy Meteor have some sort of terrible problem in the hips?

Yes, among other issues. I know that many have had issues with the back leg panels breaking off as well. From what I understand, it can be pretty up in the air as to whether an individual figure will have them, but they're more common than they should be. There are some fixes people can make to the hips though to prevent it from happening, but I haven't heard anything regarding the leg panel issue.

Do you know where I can find those photos? I've been trying to make an image that would capture the scale, but I can't quite figure out how tall Galaxy Meteor actually is, since he's listed as being 9 inches tall, but he's noticeably taller than MP Starscream 2.0, who is also supposedly 9 inches tall. I just ordered Galaxy Meteor, so we'll see if I can figure out the scale better when I compare him to my MP-10 (which is a cm or so shorter than the base form of TR-02) when he gets here, but figuring out the scale before that is difficult.

Alright thank you yes, so going off of what I could gather, this is [roughly] how Galaxy Meteor should scale with the two robot modes of TR-02:

And yeah I hear you. I caved and grabbed a new Galaxy Meteor the other day. I may regret it if he breaks, but at the very worst, I’ll have a very nice thing to look at on the shelf next to TR-02.

PSA: If your Galaxy Meteor hips squeek... add a little silicone lube to the outwards joint (high weight lube probably best but w/e) and the ratchets should work correctly again.

Those are great prices. I paid a pretty penny more. Not sure it was worth it but ya know ;)

At this point I'd rather wait and see if TFR does more Cybertron characters, since Galaxy Meteor being a (admittedly very) slightly different style, expensive, and compounded by numerous other minor issues, I don't know if it's worth it simply as a companion piece.

I am also highly obsessed with Fans Hobby and what they are doing. There is a good chance they will do Starscream at some point... even though it seems like they are only working on combining/upgradable figures. Smart business model, but sucks for some characters we want.

I had him for a day. Body looks great, but that's where it ends. Hip was broken out of the box, materials felt like crap, face sculpt is mush.

Fanshobby's takes are too stylized for me personally. I'd rather we get a Cybertron Starscream that was as accurate to the show/toy as this Optimus is.
