Sorry, but you haven't been paying attention. 3rd party companies aren't paying any attention to licensing. Which is why sometimes they get described as copyright infringing.

Technically Porshe might be able to sue this project into nonexistence, but so far 3rd parties seem immune from legal challenges.

 

I wonder what Hasbro thinks when they sees these things. I'd bet the designer over at Takara see them at get happy, potential employees.

Looks great except for the mouth area (maybe its too small for the size of the head?).

 

This looks great but I think the knees are positioned too high.

I'd like to see the legs in some poses before getting too excited.

 

I don't know, it looks good but not great to me. Jazz is so central i think I'll sit this one out for now. The car mode has details like vents in the wrong place and in bot mode he looks sort of inelegant from the waist down. The hands look too small or need a wrist or something, they look weird.

The options like the doors out or not, the grappling hook, and speakers are all great though. I think if this design can go through a solid round of refinement like Guttur did aesthetics-wise, this could be really great. Jazz deserves the best, and this isn't there yet, but it could be with some more work.

 

Pass! Looks good but there is just too much kibble around the leg, it looks untidy, the car mode seems off and doesn't seem to fit in with what Takara are doing with their line, besides Jazz seems like a character Takara will be getting around to, sooner rather than later. That and the fact that they'll more than likely do it at a better price and quality with better aesthetics!

His feet look awesome! The more I look though, the more I think this is too close to the g1 Cartoon aesthetic than the TT/has bro masterpiece series. Maybe it won't fit with them, we need to see him side by side with the lambos / lancias to make a call.

 

It's a nice start, but it could be a lot better. I'm sitting this one out and hoping for MMC to tackle Jazz. Hopefully they will shelve their unnecessary Insecticons and focus on finishing the Autobot cars. Their Mirage looks awesome.
