anybody else here in their 30s and still big fans of the TF franchise, what characters are your favourites after all this time, what do you collect and what are your favourite things about the old G1 series
I'm in my 30s - I only collect Masterpiece figures for now, the new universe stuff is looking interesting though.
I am 29 going to be 30 soon. I collect Classics (brought me back in after a 20 some year absence), Masterpiece, and G1. Mostly Classics and I too am looking forward to the new Universe toys. My favorite characters are Omega Supreme, Starscream, Soundwave, and of course Megatron. My favorite (or least depending ) is that nothing has even come close to how good G1 is (my opinion of course)
Well I just turned 30 in november and I still love transformers. megatron is still my favorite. I like bumblebee more now since I am a Camaro fan as well. I collect everything from G1 all the way through Beast Wars and the new Movie. I just love my transformers. My favorite thing about the old series is the bickering between Megatron and Starscream as well and the characterization of Optimus Prime. He was such a classic hero in the 80's. Also I always loved the combiners and all that stuff.
I'll be 34 in April, and I still feel like I'm 10 years old eveytime I find a new "bot". Some things just get better with age.. and some things still help make us young at heart. For me, it's my Transformers.
Just reached 32... I collect whatever is improved G1 such as 6" titaniums and Classics. Or I kitbash some TF's to fit the classics line. I love the G1 line but they are bricks so if I can give them some articulations I try. So basically, my collection is all classics based kitbashed improved G1's...or something like that! My favs... -The Constructicons (Devastator) -The Dinobots -Skyfire -Sideswipe -Megatron -Optimus Prime -Galvatron....for his insanity -Cyclonus
Early 30's.... G1 was great and all, but it's best as a memory. Occasionally I'll track down one of the G1 toys that I wanted and never got as a kid, but for the most part, I'm more excited about the current and future lines and tracking down some of the better figures from the lines that I missed between now and the old days.
32 in March. Huge fan in the '80s, reborn right before energon. hundreds now clog the house, irritating the wife. No clear favorites.
I'm 31 (I'll be 32 this year) and I've been a Transformers fan since literally DAY ONE. I still collect them, I still own almost all of my old Transformers (some in great shape, some not), and I'm still a HUGE fan of almost anything Transformers related. I own most of the old Marvel comics series, most of the new Transformers series that have been released in recent years, and I own the entire Rhino collection of Generation 1, as well as Metrodome's Headmasters, Masterforce, and Victory sets all on DVD. My favorite characters are as follows: Generation 1 (Seasons 1-3, Headmasters, Masterforce, Victory): Optimus Prime Megatron Ironhide Ratchet Prowl Devastator Starscream Ultra Magnus Galvatron Cyclonus Scourge Hot Rod/Rodimus Prime Grimlock Slag Swoop Sludge Snarl Fortress Maximus Chromedome Hardhead Ginrai/Super Ginrai/God Ginrai Overlord King Poseidon Deszaras Road Caesar Liokaiser Star Saber Victory Leo I'm more of a G1 fan, what can I say? But in the end, I'll be a diehard Trans-fan until the day I die.
I'll be 34 in April and I collect BT/Alts, Classics, Titaniums, movie toys, and I'll be collecting the upcoming Universe/Classics 2.0 line. I'm still on the fence about how much I will collect of Animated. I'm definitely getting Animated Grimlock, though. My favorite character is Smokescreen, specifically the BT/Alt. version. But, Grimlock comes in a very close second. Other characters I like include, but not limited to: Prowl, Bluestreak, Starscream, Shockwave and Sixshot.
34 about to be 35. Brought back in by 20th Optimus and Alts. Mainly collect Starscream but also pick up figs that I find interesting.
I'm 33 and have been in it since '84... My faves are Jetfire (G1), Omega Prime(RID), and most of the Alts

I'm surprised at the amount 30+ people here. I will be there in a year and a half and hope to be still collecting...
Going on 30 next year - jeez, do you really have to ask THAT?! I have 25th OP - unfortunately, mom threw all the good stuff away when I was, hmm, 15/16??!
